Ordered a few things and a sectional sofa on Saturday where the quoted us wrong on our delivery price. The showed up at noon with the truck load but realized they had a wrong piece for the sectional and were going to come right back with the right piece. They asked if someone would be home and we said yes. At 5:30 we called and asked american freight where our couch piece was and they said it was put on the truck 20 mins ago and had already left the store. We called at 6:30, since the close at 7, to see where our piece was. They then said that it wouldnt be at our house till at least 8:30 because they had 3 stops in St. charles and then would stop by our house in Wentzville before Troy. At 9:30 they appear at our house AFTER Troy with the piece and finally put the sectional together and quickly leave. We sit on the couch and find out a piece is broken and caved in. By this point it is 10pm and they are closed. I call in the morning to inform them of the broken piece and the manager asks if it is «visibley» broken, which it was. He says they will replace it and drop it off today. We stayed up till 12am waiting for a truck to arrive and nobody did. I called the next morning and he said that the truck had gotten a flat tire and it was too late at night. I asked what time did they get a flat tire and he said 7pm even though they showed up at my house at 9:30 saturday, showing me he was creating excuses. He said they should have called me and then brushed off the fact that i had waited from 10am to 12pm on a broken couch piece. I then told him i needed it as soon as possible and he asked me what the latest could be. I informed him he had till 3pm to drop it off before i was returning the couch. They showed up at exactly 3pm waiting till the last minute. Great deal for the couch but completely horrible service. The delivery men they hire from an outside company were wonderfull but the American freight store is nightmare to get furniture from if you don’t pick it up yourself.

Worst company ever-buyer beware-I would never recommend to anyone. They lied about cost of delivery and tried to make me pay an additional $ 30 after I already paid $ 75 which is what I was quoted. Once we unwrapped the sofa we noticed it was damaged. I called the store to tell them about it and they argued with me about the situation and yelled at me for about 30 minutes before they said they would deliver a new one the next day. The next day they delivred a new sofa and that sofa was also damanaged. When I called the store to let them know this set was also damaged they were rude and hung up on me. I would never buy anthing from this store. I called their customer service manager and have not received a call back. This was the worst expirience and their customer service was horrible. Good luck if you decided to purchase anything from them.
