In 2011, I bought a home and shopped around a lot for insurance. A coworker of mine referred me to Tim Bottini at Country Financial. I completely trust my coworker and was thrilled when I got the quote for my home, condo and auto. The rates were very reasonable in spite of the fact that I had 2 previous claims on my condo. Tim took the time to get all the information about the claims, realized that they were not due to any negligence on my part and went above and beyond to push through my policies with the underwriter.
When I signed on the dotted line, Tim mentioned that I would be able to save a little extra in October once a traffic violation dropped off and sure enough in October, I heard from Tim and my policy was updated, saving me $ 15/​month.
I have now had my policies for almost a year and last week I received a call from Tim’s assistant asking to schedule an appointment to review my policies. I was wondering what was going on. Am I being canceled? Rates going up? No clue since I hadn’t had any claims and couldn’t think of anything that would effect my policies. I’ve had insurance for 20 years and never get calls from my agent unless it is something bad.
I was pleasantly surprised. Yesterday, Tim and I had a 20 minute phone conversation and we reviewed my auto, home and condo policies. We made 1 small money saving change to my auto policy and 1 sort of significant change to my condo policy. The home we left as is. Tim went through all the coverage and reminded me of how much coverage I have for each policy. He was thorough, yet didn’t take a ton of my time and saved me a little money.
