DONOTUSETHISPHARMACY!!! I went up today to pick up a pain medication refill & counted them prior to taking any bc I have been short the past few months. & have been questioning family members. Well, I am 10 pills short on my 7.5 oxycodone! What type of pharmacist does that? I cannot prove it, so I’m pretty much screwed. Just felt the need to let others know so the same doesn’t happen to you. At the least I recommend checking the count on your meds in front of a staff member Before leaving.

I like this Walgreens. It is a larger store so the aisles are brighter and wider than in the newer Walgreens stores which have popped up all over St. Charles County MO over the last 10 — 15 years. The staff in all departments has always been helpful and courteous. I think the pharmacy staff is great. I’ve never experienced the issues the other Unilocalers had, but I also am on pretty simple medications. Nothing too complex. The store is over 20 years old and it is kept up well by the employees. Prices are not as cheap as Walmart or Target but they are WAY better than what CVS just down the street tries to get away with. Walgreens also runs great weekly specials in their ads. That along with being a Balance Rewards member I frequently have at least a $ 5 or $ 10 Reward in my mobile wallet to use and what I wouldn’t have spent at Walmart I can usually get close to with the ad offers and redeeming $ 5 in Rewards here and there. I like being able to go in, easily find what I need, and checkout quickly. The checkouts at this Walgreens always seem to be staffed with two cashiers at the times we go in most so the wait is not long at all. I would rather pay slightly more at Walgreens than wait in line forever at Walmart. This Walgreens has been a mainstay in our great community and it’s nice to have them around the corner 24 hours a day for whatever we need.

As far as the store, I’m okay with this location. However, the pharmacy department is a complete mess. Twice I have had to deal with walgreens pharmacy screw ups and I’m none too happy about it. The first time my own doctor called in the prescription and when I arrived 15 min later they said they didn’t even have it. Even though they told my doctor that they did and it would be 15 minutes to prepare. Luckily they had the off brand. The second time they left an automated message saying that my prescription was ready. Lo and behold, they didn’t wen have it. It took around three days to get sorted out. The pharmacy staff were apologetic to a point and I didn’t deal with any attitude. The store is clean and prices are okay. Walgreens no longer takes my insurance so I probably will not be going back.

WOW! Where do I begin… As I have always only gone to Walgreens for prescriptions I am about to change… The only problem I have with this one is the Pharmacy Department… and actually one in particular woman who works there… or should I call her your typical burnt out nurse who could only find a job in the pharmacy and hates every minute of it… OHMYGOSHWASSHE A BITCH! I have been having massive miscommunication problems with my doctors office and Walgreens as I am getting a quantity of 1 vs 12… 1 is $ 11.99 and 12 are $ 36.00 so you can see why this become frustrating and on top of that it is a prescription that takes about 3 – 4 days to come in because it would be very expensive to the pharmacy if it was left therefore none are kept in stock… so when I went in tonight… I saw her through the drop of window just sitting on her ass, when I came up to the counter I told her that I needed to pick up and proceeded to say my name 4TIMES! As she continued to act incredibly rude she argued with me of what I should have for my prescription… I told her I did not understand what the miscommunication between them and the doctor’s office have been because I have called had this happen for the past 2 weeks… If that’s not enough I told her that the one time it was right, there was a bag with the rest in a drawer… she looked at me, rolled her eyes, threw my 1 item on the counter slammed the drawer and told me I was wrong. I told her I would not purchase it today because I won’t pay that much for it again especially when I don’t need it at this time. I then called my mom and told her about the experience and she knew exactly who I was talking about… she said«Yes, that lady is such a crab ass… her name is Pat!» I have never had too many problems here but she totally ruined it for me. If you have an interaction with her… you will know it. I do not know why Walgreens would even stoop that low to hire someone who acts like this especially since many people coming into a pharmacy are sick… If I were to be sick I really would have been pissed off by the way she acted, talked, and appeared… I do like Walgreens but am getting annoyed with the Pharmacy Dpt. Thanks to Pat… I will not be coming back… and if I do I will ask to speak with someone else. Take your business and pharmaceutical needs to Schnucks, Target, or elsewhere. As a side not: I probably should have waited a while before writing about my experience only about 20 min ago but I am so heated if you cannot tell!
