The butcher shop and deli! yum yum yum. Plus, all the foods on the shelves were the stuff I buy and hot coffee and fountain drinks were quality. Good beer selection. Faves for us: cold sesame noodles, smoked fish dip, kebabs, mutton snapper filets

A+ butcher shop, deli food and wine selection. We are blessed to have this gem. Family owned by a butcher and a staff that is always friendly and helpful. You will not be disappointed.

This place is just past the toll on the way to Tierra Verde. We pay the toll, because they have the best raw ahi tuna around. We use it to make seared sesame crusted ahi steaks and homemade poke. My boyfriend also gets bacon-​wrapped filets quite often. Pass on the twice baked potatoes.

Fantastic sandwiches! Great drinks and chips selection too. They have a full deli with pre-​made items/​soups and beer and wine. Good breakfast sandwich too!

My morning savior! I call in an order for a breakfast sandwich (or two if I have a long day ahead) and when I arrive they are hot, savory, and begging to be consumed. This breakfast gem far surpasses any other breakfast sandwich that those fast food chains peddle.
Other than a great breakfast sandwich (til 11 am only guys, so hurry up!) they have a plethora of other sandwiches, salads, and prepared entrees. I occasionally stop here on the way home from work to pick up dinner or at least some sides.
Great place to stop before a fishing trip or a day at the beach or Ft Desoto.

My friend and I spend a lot of time in the community right next to Bay Way and we needed lunch before getting ready and hitting the road for a show over in Tampa. She used to be a regular and this was my first stop.
I was really impressed at all the gourmet and unusual products they carried. The location leads you to believe it would be a regular little convenience store that sold sandwiches. They had fancy chocolate covered –things-​, a solid selection of individual serving sized snacks, tons of canned/​bottled drinks (I picked up some peace tea after discovering it down south recently), ready to go soups/​sides/​salads, and tons more I’m forgetting about.
I didn’t want anything especially heavy so I picked up a salad and asked the deli counter to slice some meats for me. We sat outside and attacked lunch, and I was a little underwhelmed at what I ended up getting. The sell by date was a couple days out and the cucumbers were already mushy and the tomatoes weren’t too hot. I basically ended up with a pile of lettuce and the deli meats. I’m not going to deny I felt a little slighted. I probably would have been okay with that if they had a better dressing to go with it, but they only had packages of newman’s. My friend ordered a wrap and was good with it, so I guess the moral of the story is avoid their pre-​made salads?
The girl at the deli counter and the woman at the register were both nice and helpful, so I can’t make any complaints about that. Overall it was an okay experience and I’m sure it would be better next time.

Stopped by here when I wanted to pick up some munchies on my way to Fort DeSoto. Noticed there was a little Deli on the was across the street, that did not show up when I asked SIRI for a sandwich mind you.
Looks very family owned. Its a homey neighborhood deli with plenty of home-​made goodies like potato salad, lasagna, salads, etc. Boars Head Deli that makes huge hoagies — although I am not a fan of hoagie bread, still delish. They also had a butcher shop, huge wine selection and all that other stuff you expect to find at a local convenience store.
Big fan.

A Hidden Gem… Bought Stone Crabs yesterday – some of the best I’ve ever had. Terrific selection fromo pastries to bison to Nehi grape soda. They even have a pickle barrel.
Fresh, Friendly and Fun… Three inmportant ingredients when thinking about your next meal.

Nothing not to like about this great little store!!! Good meats, good seafood, good folks!!!

Really great selection here. You can get everyting from fresh seafood to butcher cuts, premade items for your cookout and of course, beverages.
Prices are a little high, but not too much for the area.

You know what? This is a great little store. Literally something for everyone. Seafood and meat, do it yourself or take away any number of the pre-​prepared foods. Good selection of beer and wine, and other snacks and necessities. Definitely worth a stop.
PS. We bought some fresh local clams, from SeaSalter Shellfish Co. (in Terra Ceia, FL) and they cooked up delicious!

I have been driving by this butcher shop for the last 15 years. I finally stopped in today to by some filets for my husband for Father’s Day. I also purchased 100 little neck clams for a very reasonable price. The clams were fresh and reminded me of home in NJ. My husband grilled up the filet mignons which were tender & juicy. I highly recommend checking this butcher shop out. It is actually also a mini grocery store with deli meats and other basic items. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly!
