My Mom loves these sort of «Chinese» joints, so I often frequent these places to get take out for her. It’s decent. Not gross, not great… Expect strictly fast food style Americanized Chinese food, nearly identical to the other small take-out joints that seem to inhabit almost every strip mall in our area. Expect yellow fried rice and all chicken dishes to be mainly thigh meat. For the entrees? Expect the same lonely trio of American Chinese flavor profiles: soy sauce, sweet, or spicy hot. You won’t find much depth here, nor should you expect it. It’s really just fast food without a drive-thru… (If my review seem like a «copy» of my last review of a similar place, it’s because these Chinese strip mall take out joints are almost an exact«carbon copy» of the other one, just up the street!)

I was surprised at the bad reviews from last year. This is my first time ordering from this Chinese restaurant. It took 30 mins tops to deliver. I ordered a quart of shrimp lo mein and a pint of chicken lo mein. I enjoyed my shrimp lo mein very much, and there was a generous amount of tasty shrimp, which was surprising. My fiancé liked her chicken lo mein, even the mushrooms that were in it. I think last year the restaurant had a bad rep and I hope they have improved. I haven’t been inside the establishment, but hopefully it has gotten better since all the reviews were terrible. I will order delivery from here again when the mood strikes!

Dropped in once when in the neighborhood and hungry for something quick other than a burger. The menu is pretty much identical to the ubiquitous non-chain family chinese restaurants you can find in most shopping centers and strip malls. And most have acceptable quality. This one was lower than the low bar. My test dishes for such places are egg rolls and hot & sour soup. Here the eggrolls were stale and apparently nuked hard and the soup had an off flavor. Will accept a burger next time.

After craving Chinese food for a week, I caved and ordered from Great Wall. The menu had arrived at my front door a few days earlier, so I thought it was some kind of divine intervention pushing me to order Sweet and Sour Chicken and an Egg Roll. It wasn’t. This place is ridiculous. Walk in and you’re greeted by a little girl who looks like she’s nine years old. She’s taking the delivery orders and working the cash register while a man and a woman(I’m assuming her parents) are cooking all of the food. Look to your right and you’ll see a giant poster of Jackie Chan behind an industrial sized fan. Yeah. There’s no air conditioning. It’s August and all of the doors are open to try and cool it off. While I’m waiting for my food, I see a bird fly into the back kitchen, walk around for a minute, and leave. That’s right, a BIRD decided not to eat here. The only good thing that happened here is I didn’t get food poisoning.

I think this is a front for the Chinese mafia. There never seems to be anyone there and when we went the food was horrible. How they have stayed in business this long is not through legitimate sale of food. I’ll bet you could buy a cool samurai sword there… sorry wrong country.
