Cannot believe the level of horrible customer service I received by the staff at the 1500 34^th St. North
St. Petersburg, FL 33 713 location. I placed my order online… The pick two with a pizza and salad. I opted for no vegetables (online, «tap to remove») and added the spicy chicken. I opened the bag and saw the salad was covered in olives, tomatoes and onions and had a few small pieces of chicken. I called the store b/​c this is something I cannot eat. I didn’t ask for anything… But was told over and over again that it was my fault. I never asked for a replacement, never asked for a refund… But still was told it was my fault, I must have done something wrong. I could hear the manager in the background hollering at the guy on the phone to relay things to me and I found that inexcusable that the manager couldn’t speak to an obviously upset PAYING customer. I am still in disbelief over the actions of this location… Best case scenario they offer a free $ 9 salad, but no… I was told over and over again, I got what I paid for.

Last week, I ordered a plain cheese pizza sub. They delivered a loaded sub with ham, mushrooms, onions, etc. This was my dinner and I don’t like all that stuff, so I called them and told them my order was wrong. After the employee spoke with his manager, they told me the best they could do is give me a credit. Umm, no. You do not work in retail, you work in the food industry. You can’t just give a credit for a food item. I said that wouldn’t work and I’d like the food that I ordered. I was informed that all of the delivery drivers were out and that it would be a really long time before I got my food. So, in order to get the food I ordered, I had to go all the way out of my way to the restaurant instead of getting it delivered like it should have been. A driver could have been rerouted or something since it was their fault. Horrible management. The food is good though.

I was craving a pizza on Christmas Day, but alas they were not open. I am extremely partial to hungry’s and the deliciousness that ensues when you take your first bite into one of those pizzas.
I got the carry out special and added sausage to it, because I was treated to a different brand just a few days back and those were the particular toppings that were on this pizza that mad me want to get them added to mine. Just got to say that I thoroughly enjoyed every slice, although I did not eat it all in one night.

How in the world does this place get almost 5 stars? Do people not know any better or are they drunk? I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and it was bland and the crust was doughy. No where near almost 5 stars. Never again.

The pizza is very good and they make the dough fresh at this location. I’ve had other Hungry Howies pizza where they didn’t make fresh dough and there is definitely a difference. The fact that they season the crust is great. I love the sesame and garlic herb crusts.
