Love this dog boutique and my Bichon looked great after being groomed. Definitely will come back here again.

My little girls just had another groom. I’m so thankful for the staff of One Lucky Dog. They are the best. I love that they let them walk around the grooming area vs. being in a cage. They appreciate it too ! Thank you for taking good care of my pups.

I love this store almost as much as my Frenchie does:). My dog practically shakes with excitement when we enter the boutique because he knows that the staff will fawn over him and give him plenty of treats! Wonderful selection of dog clothing, food, beds, treats, shampoos, and MUCH more. Employees are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional — it is truly a pleasure shopping here. I’ve recommended One Lucky Dog to many friends and neighbors, and they couldn’t agree with me more that this is the best shop for our precious pets in all of St. Pete!

Every time I have ever made an appointment, they have always been so nice over the phone (which is so small of a detail, but in the customer service industry, this is important to me). They are efficient with scheduling my Finnigan for his grooming. I now have been going there for years, and I never have had a preference of who grooms my pup, they are all so nice and good at what they do! Today I had Gail for the 2^nd time and she is so sweet and so good! I reccommend them to everyone!

This place has a wonderful staff of groomers that takes special care of your dog! My dog has dry skin and the groomer had the knowledge, care and compassion to recognize her issue and address it with the proper shampoo and care! Not only does this place have awesome groomers but the doggy shop is my all time favorite! I went to purchase a beautiful handmade Harness that came in xs, small, medium and large unfortunately my dog was in between sizes and they had it made over the weekend just for her with no additional cost. Overall just wanted share my experience with other viewers and give them a big thumbs up!

This is the BEST puppy boutique I have come across HANDS DOWN! I have been bringing my 9 month old French Bulldog here for 4 months now and she loves it so much that I refuse to take her anywhere else. In fact, she gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot for her grooming appointments that I can barely keep her from jumping out of the car and running to the door! We love that when she comes for her grooming it’s more like a play date.
She has a lot of skin allergies and we try to be very careful to use all natural products on her and they are FANTASTIC with her allergy issues. Always so beautiful and soft after her appointments, not to mention that since she’s been receiving regular grooming from One Lucky Dog her itching has subsided considerably, they seriously work miracles back there! Always extremely pleasant and sweet with our baby too (and we’re very particular puppy parents).
If you get the chance to stop into this fantastic hidden gem in N St. Pete, you will not be sorry, we live in Tampa and drive over every two weeks to see Jamie and the girls because there is just no comparison to how fantastic this wonderful little shop is.

His whiskers were missing, the cut was uneven, there were missed spots, and he was covered in dog hair clippings leading me to assume he was never washed. They charged my dog $ 55 in comparison to a beagle (he’s a chihuahua) and he left with a pink handkerchief. I wash my dog in my sink. Beagles are 20+ pounds and my dog is a boy — didn’t you see his male parts while you were butchering him. He was covered in hair and I don’t know what else. There was like a film on him. We got home and in a matter of 15 minutes he scratched himself until he bled all over his body. I tried rinsing him which help a little bit but still didn’t get him to stop. I honestly don’t think they washed him at all and just sprayed some perfume on him. It’s been heartbreaking to watch my dog like this for days now. I called but they could care less.

Jaime, I did call and spoke with someone when my pup got home that day. I saw you at the shop that day so the message you left us doesn’t correlate with your story. Prior to coming in that day I was quoted about $ 35. When my husband went to pick him up he was charged $ 55. He stated the quote given over the phone as well as address the issue with our pup covered in hair and sloppy haircut. Therefore they changed the price. Regardless of the price we paid, my husband was initially being charged $ 55 for a dog covered in hair, missed spots shaved, and his whiskers missing.

I took my dog to get groomed here.
They did an excellent job.
He is an Australian Shepherd so a medium size dog. He is very shy and timid. I told them this was his first professional grooming. It was only 50 dollars. That included bathing, brushing out matted hair, ears cleaning, pads smoothed, and nails done .
When I picked him up. He seemed happy and not traumatized. Which is what I feared since no one else besides family has ever bathed him. He doesn’t like it.
He looked beautiful!!! He smelled so good and was his happy shy self. Will definitely be taking Alby back. He even got a cute bandana to boot.

We have both our Shih Tzus groomed here regularly and we couldn’t be happier! Sheila always takes great care of our dogs and they always walk out looking amazing!

The 2^nd time I had my dog groomed here the new male groomer butchered my doxies coat! The receptionist insisted he had great skills when I booked my appointment. He also has a cold personality… $ 48 later including 20% tip I have an uneven coat of my fur ball. :/

Cool place. Definitely a bit expensive l but they do provide a pretty high quality grooming service and high end pet supplies. I always end up buying more stuff than I need from here because they have a lot of neat stuff for the dogs to play with or eat. Would give 5 stars but I had a bad experience with the grooming once as one of my dogs was semi injured. I think probably whichever groomer it was just accidentally scraped a bit too hard using a de-​shedding tool. Not really a big deal but did cost me a vet visit and steroid shot. The owner is a very nice lady and seemed really concerned when I called the next day and mentioned that my dog was hurt. I’m pretty certain that she would have reimbursed me for the vet visit had I mentioned it. Anyways, every other time I have been here they do a great job with the dogs.

Love, Love, Love this place. I take my Lhasa Poo and my Shih Poo here for grooming. I love the atmosphere, the owners, the groomers. 100% Recommend.

Im not one that writes reviews but I have to for this place. I really try and support local business as much as possible, and I gave this place a few tries but will never go back. As soon as you walk in the owners chihuahuas start yipping and they even have a sign posted that says «we bite please do not pet.» Why have dogs that bite loose? Also everything is for little dogs, nothing for bigger ones. The ladies immediately are all over you and it seems they will try to sell you anything. But they didn’t even know what a chuck it was. Really? And i wanted a specific dog food and they said they could order it and I went back and it was still the wrong one and I ended up paying more. Everything is over priced if you ask me. And the lady actually thought it rang up wrong and should cost more!

This place is great!
I had a very hard time finding or picking a place. My goldendoodle was already attacked and he was a lil scared around loud noises and things since. One lucky dog let him come for a bath and face trim and just get him use to the area. He was able to run around smell everything and I could watch on there videos. It was a good experience!
Then we took him to get cut! He looked absolutely amazing!!!
It is very expensive! This is the bad part, but I do know my puppy is safe! That matters more to me

I’m sad to give this place 2 stars. They offer great products and groomed our dog really well and she didn’t have anxiety attacks when we came here. Before we brought our dog in to be groomed here we let them know that she hated for her nails to be touched and that she becomes extremely anxious around other dogs (That’s my fault I didn’t socialize her with other dogs. I was a teen raising a pup. I knew no better. Haha). They said it wouldn’t be a problem. After a few visits we were told we need to find another groomer because she was difficult when it came to cutting her nails. They told us it wouldn’t be an issue. We came to them for a year and then they kicked us to the curb because what we warned them about actually happened. Great customer service.

First time here and it has been a great experience.

Stopped in to pick up a bag of treats and walked out with the snacks, birthday gift, t-​shirt, and shampoo! It would have been easy to purchase a few other goodies, like a new harness, bed, and stroller if I really wanted to splurge, but I didn’t have one of my pups with me so all that will have to wait until the next trip.
This shop is definitely in the boutique category — with limited food options — best to call if you are on a «mission».
Plenty of variety for all sizes of dogs — and there is a cute section for feline friends. The environment is froo froo and focus is on the more petit side so be warned!

The store staff was arrogant, rude and insulting. I was badgered and cut my shopping experience short. Might have just been my individual treatment. However, I did like the specialized inventory.

My girlfriend takes our yorkie here regularly. I’ve never actually gone myself, but chewie always comes back extremely soft and smelling great for at least a whole week (this is a big deal cuz she smells funky almost all the time). But this last time she came back looking cuter than ever, so I just wanted to say thank you to Michelle who was the groomer. I feel like I’ve fallen in love with the dog all over again!
