Business Owner

Dr. Sorkin’s desire is to identify and help all patients struggling from learning related visual problems. He has maintained at private practice in St. Petersburg for over ten years. Dr. Sorkin graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, and completed his residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision. Prior to private practice, he served as faculty at Nova Southeastern University, achieving the rank of Assistant Professor and Chief of the Pediatrics and Binocular Vision Service. His duties at the University included didactic courses in Anomalies of Binocular Vision and clinical work in the pediatrics department. Dr. Sorkin is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and the College of Optometry in Vision Development (FCOVD). He currently specializes in binocular vision disorders, visual therapy and patients with special needs. His lecture topics include amblyopia and learning related visual disorders.
