When my wife got a contract position in the area, we struggled to find an RV park that wasn’t too far away. Most all of them in the area were 55+ (which seems a bit «ageist» to me…). In any case, we found this place and were happy it was nice.
The price was right for us, and they had long term spaces available. The park itself is pretty big with a mix of mobile homes and RVs. For the most part, they are separated, but there are random units spread about. It is kept pretty nice looking with plenty of amenities and activities to stay busy. The pool and hot tub are open until 9, but they usually didn’t kick us out until closer to 10pm. One note about that — the chlorine in the hot tub is strong so don’t wear a new or nice suit in. We knew of a couple women and my wife who had bathing suits completely discolored from it.
The park itself is located in between a few major roads, so it is easy to get around wherever you need to go. It can be a bit challenging to bike or walk to nearby businesses because of the main road, but you can take side roads out of the park at the expense of a few dozen minutes. I biked to walmart pretty regularly.
Otherwise, everything was good. There are two women who always work in the office (which is only open from 9am — 4pm, and closed for lunch from 12 — 1pm, so good luck getting in there, it is always crowded). They are nice enough, but can get a bit crabby — maybe just at me because we are younger… I don’t know.
