Z Bar & Grill

Found this place by accident. It’s a little gem with a great staff. The rooms here are great for us frequent travelers. Not only is everything here but if it’s not here they will make sure they help you get it. I love the fact that every night there is a different special at the full bar which is all restaurant. Their motto stay-​play-​eat is certainly true and you will not be disappointed. I’ll be back and I highly recommend the Z-​Loft!

A small restaurant that is part of an extended stay hotel. Very modern atmosphere with very loud music. Service is hit or miss and the food is just okay. Has a full bar and isn’t a bad place to meet friends for drinks. If you wanna a relaxed place to hang out with friends over drinks and okay food… this is the place.

After a long drive, I was glad to sit down and eat an actual meal. Only complaint is they were a little slow with getting our food to us, but sitting there without having to drive was nice.

Great food and service. We must’ve went back three times when we stayed in Saint Robert. Owners were so accommodating to our group. Wings were very good. Daily specials offered very good deals. Just a short walking distance from Holiday Inn Express.

While staying at the hotel I had the Bourbon Burger. What a nice surprise! Burger was great and the fries were a nice addition. This is a must try!!!

Friendly staff and really clean establishment… it really looks like it doesn’t belong here, but I’m glad it is.

Best food around. Great atmosphere and quality food and drinks. Staff and owners are friendly and attentive. Awesome for date night or just hanging out with friends.

Probably the best place to relax after a week at work in St. Roberts. I came here almost every weekend while going to school at Ft. Leonard Wood, always good service, good food, good atmosphere and cheap alcohol. I got my drink on here for cheaper than I could have buying bottles at a liquor store.

Great service! Came in for a few drinks i tried the Italian margarita. Very good. Very great asset to the neighborhood! I like how the owners brought in something new it’s not your typical «hotel» stay they got very creative and art decal

Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and became a regular at the restaurant. Staff is amazing and food is delicious, tried everything on the menu and loved all their items!

Been here for over a week now and every meal has been very good. The staff is extremely friendly which is great to see!

Delicious food — I had the quesadilla and this thing was stuffed full of chicken and cheese. It’s a small bar/​grille but the service is good and the appearance is really modern. Definitely a diamond in the rough considering the area.

Don’t bother, says the vegan in me. But the vegetarian in me says the same thing. They have salads but they are all covered in meat. You can get them without, but they will still charge you full price. I ended up getting a 4.00 $ side salad and garlic mashed potatoes– which were instant. Gross.

We had an awesome meal! The stuff is so nice! They make you feel right at home! Wish we didn’t live so far away so we could come back more often!

Decided to try Z Loft on Friday at 1700. Great Lady’s night drink specials — all $ 4. Ordered blackened chicken salad and ribeye steak sandwich. Both entrees were awesome the salad was huge and came with great bread and chipotle sauce. Don’t let the salad prove scare you well with the cost. You could do an appetizer and share a salad. The ribeye steak sandwich was good, cut the meat with a butter knife and the fries we’re nice and crunchy. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Great neighborhood hem. Prices are great for food and drinks. Will be back.

Came here once while in saint Robert and I can’t complain. Prices were good and the service was excellent. Outside patio was nice and they had karaōke.

I’ve been here a couple of times. This time it was pretty bad. Hair found in our food. A long piece of hair in the actual meat of the burger. We sent our food back. The manager came out but all she did was making jokes about it and NEVER apologized. She said «I guess we’re gonna have to start wearing hair nets» Granted she didn’t charge for the burger but she still should have tried to make up for it.
ANNND they allowed the TWO tables next to us to put their feet up on the table and chair. See photo. Maybe I expected too much from St Roberts, MO.

Food is average, not great or bad. Middle of the road but hey it isn’t pricey, its pretty cheap. Service is decent. Again not great, not bad.
The best thing however is the cheap beer on Fridays. Drafts for $ 2.50.
The patio is pretty cool, decent place to hang out with some friends. One of the better places you are going to be in St. Roberts.

OK so… we came here based on location.
It was close to our hotel and wanted to check it out since our hotel’s front desk has signs and menus promoting this place. Maybe, it’s their sister-​hotel?
I’m so glad we did though! I got their Grilled Tilapia Sandwich with Fries $ 9, which was seasoned perfectly and their fries are crunchy. Yum! My daughter enjoyed her Chicken Strip with Fries Kids meal $ 6 as well. The portions are huge! I barely ate half before I was stuffed. Plus, reasonably priced.
The restaurant is clean and brand new! I love the black chairs and tables! An added star for The Beatles Abbey Road framed poster! $ 2 draft beers during happy hour! The bar looked well stocked, but I’m not a big drinker so don’t hold me accountable on that. *wink!*
The Front Desk/​Waitress was really nice, even if she had to verify if they were open for lunch. Yes, they are!
Definitely worth a try!

Just tried out the new Zloft Bar and Grill. We really liked it and would recommend it. The food was good but leans more to bar food then a restaurant. Both the food and drinks where well priced costing.
You can dine inside or on the patio. The also have a nice fire pit out side with couches around it for 15 – 20 people. The inside is beautiful and feels like a place to take someone for a date.
The only issue is it feels like they have a identity issues. Beautiful place that looks like a 4 star restaurant but the menu looks like it comes a bar. The alcohol drinks come in real glasses but water and soda comes in small plastic cups. The food did not seam to meet the level of the décor. It was good and cheap with over sized but I was left wishing they had a menu with less fried/​greasy food on it. The addition of a stake would be huge addition or some more healthy options would be nice.
The only real issue is the wait staff. Very friendly and nice but poorly trained. We never got silverware or napkins till we asked even after our food was at the table. Every waiter repeatedly stopped at our table offering to get us a drink or bring us our bill even though we had someone do it just a minute before. When we asked if we pay at the table or inside the waiter said she was new and did not know. Just basic issues that can be fixed and are not that unexpected from a new restaurant.
A great place to eat and a great place to get a drink at a good price.
