He charges a flat rate of $ 55 per hour with no contracts, because he believes that the client should maintain the direction of the project at all times. His projects have been seen in Georgia and Florida publications.

Darby McCloskey is an experienced design architect/​construction manager with 23 years of experience. He also provides civil engineering and structural engineering services. Darby received his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky in 1987. Being registered in Georgia, Alabama and Florida allows him to design for clients in a wider area. He worked as Construction Manager and Architecture Project Manager for 15 years before staring with Ussery/​Rule Architecture on St. Simons Island. Darby McCloskey Architecture firm has been in business since 2009 and specializes in both residential and commercial projects. Darby’s experience ranges from working with individuals on remodels or new construction, to working with the Georgia Board of Regents, various Federal agencies, FLETC (The Federal Law Inforcement Training Center) and HUD, as well as numerous Boards of Education and Hospital Agencies.
