Take a fun historic tour on «William of Orange» the only air conditioned and wheelchair accessible trolley on the island. Visit 21+ miles of the island and hear more of the history in a 90 minute tour. We go into areas the other tours don’t take you to share more of the history of the island. Boarding times are 10am, 12pm & 2pm daily. Open 7 days a week. We board in Pier Village at the end of Mallery St by the blue Sunbrellas right next to the Pier.

History

Established in 2010.

We wanted to provide a tour that focused on history, geology, geography and culture and bring the island alive in storybook fashion while providing the utmost in comfort on the premium ride in the Golden Isles area of Georgia. We also are the only Wheelchair Accessible trolley in the Golden Isles which was very important to us and worth the investment so that all can ride the trolley. With a Masters degree in Geography and a Bachelors degree in History our founder, Commander Wally taught for 31+ years and taught night classes at Indiana University for many years.

I’ve spent most of my adult life working with the public is various businesses building relationships and leading businesses to a platform for success. I’ve have now settled into a tour operator and am passionate about this and increasing the quality and level of service the island and surrounding area receives. Life is about choice and now the island and area has a premium choice and I’m happy to provide that because the island deserves that.
