1993– After two grueling years at the Univeristy of California San

Francisco– San Diego while working Labor and Delivery Sandra

Graduated with her Master of Science in Midwifery.

1993-​First Job as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Nacogdoches Memorial

Hospital– loved it!

1997-​Healing Heart Midwifery– home birth and water births-​loved it!

2002-​Travel Nursing L&D positions while closing home birth practice

over the next year.

2007-​Opened Angels Singing Over Me Midwifery, home births and water

births. After several years of full time L&D nursing; North Austin

Medical Center, in Austin and Petaluma Valley Hospital in

California, I began part time home births while starting a full time

charge nurse L&D at Scott & White in Round Rock

2011– Transitioned to out of hospital births at the CTBC — Georgetown

2013– The Natural Birthing Center — Salado
