The pizza at Anna’s is excellent — great thin crust! Similar to Bianchi’s at Revere Beach. They also have specials so it’s an excellent value. Not a big fan of the dinner we had — chicken parm. The chicken had a funny taste like it had either been frozen or was not fresh. If you are looking for a new pizza place with different pizza-try Anna’s.

Anna’s is my new favorite pizza joint on the North Shore. To give you an idea, it’s somewhat like Papa Gino’s or Pizzeria Regina, with a thin crust, a tomato sauce rich with savory and not overly sweet flavor, and a nice layer of mozzarella cheese. It doesn’t taste like a chain store pizza; it’s a legitimate slice from somebody that obviously cares about producing a satisfying pie. I was expecting very little, but from the initial whiff through a closed box on the car ride home, to the last bite of the last slice, I knew I would look forward to ordering this again. :sigh: Now the question is, «Anna’s, do you deliver?»

Next time, I’ll try the pizza. Ordered the chicken, broccoli & ziti– which came with spaghetti, and not ziti, for some reason(which wazs off-putting) and the chicken didn’t have much flavor or texture. It’s sitting in my stomach like a lead ball as I type. Garlic bread had cheese and was pretty tasty. My husband got the meatball sub, which he enjoyed. The dinners come with a garden salad. We had delivery and that was prompt and friendly.
