History

Established in 1912.

Arthur Murray opened his first dance studio in 1912 in New York City. He went on to develop a system of teaching, The Arthur Murray Method, that has Made Arthur Murray the world leader in partner dance instruction. Arthur Murray is the second oldest franchise of any kind in the United states. This longevity speaks to the quality instruction Arthur Murray Dance Studios continue to provide in 270 locations and 26 countries throughout the world.
