History

Established in 1972.

Daryl Towers started this business in 1972 and ran it for nearly 40 years until he retired. Chad Towers came into the business in 1993 is now the owner/​operator.

Great place to get a haircut or haircut and shave. Chad, the owner is a great barber and equally great businessman. In ten years, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes of my appt. time to be seated. Quick and efficient. Very friendly place with easy access.

This is where I usually go for a haircut. This place is fairly big (5 or 6 stations) and usually busy. It’s bright and clean inside.
A lot of customers seem to have their favorites and make appointments or wait for who they want, but you can also just walk in and hopefully not have much of a wait either.
The barbers are all male (except one) and all do a really good job — except for the guy at the end on the right who earlier this year gave me the worst haircut I’ve had in memory!

The BEST barber shop in Salem! I’ve been coming here for thirty years (ever since I was seven years old), and I’ve always left with a great haircut! They usually have sports on the tv which is pretty cool, and it’s always clean and friendly. Quality haircuts, quality barbers, talk some football, I highly recommend!

I went in to get a straight razor shave. I was jipped on the price told it was $ 30. Was my first time and did not know. The shave was the worst shave ever. I have never even shaved myself worse. Long whiskers all over, the barber (JIM) was horrible. He bragged about how great he was and then talked about drinking, disgusting dirty jokes, and kept swearing. Do not go there…
