Our specialties include kitchen remodeling, room additions, bathroom remodeling, master bedroom/​suite renovations, garage additions, patio awnings, patio decks, siding and windows. We correct structural defects caused by dry rot, pest and other factors common in the northwest.

With the growing trend of seniors staying in their own home or with family members as long as possible, we can help with accessibility issues, such as creating beautiful accessible showers that don’t look like something that you would find in an institution, entry ramps, change bath tubs to showers to allow easier access and custom cabinetry to meet special needs.

We can work with you and your insurance company when the need arises to repair/​restore your home back to its original condition. During these emotional times, we understand that we are working on your home not just a structure.

Business Owner

Doug Wardell Jr. founded DL Remodeling in 1990 after 16 years of working in many construction trades and is a 5^th generation contractor/​carpenter. In the time that my grandfather built custom homes, many builders would do the complete project themselves; they didn’t have all the specialty contractors of today. He passed that knowledge on to me and my son, which gives us a great understanding of all facets of home construction both new and old. I have done jobs that range from $ 45 repair jobs to $ 300,000 full home restorations or remodels. Most of the work is bathroom, kitchen and interior remodels, siding, windows, additions and garages. I have also done a large amount of dry rot repairs which are usually structural.

In the first 10 years of business I did a lot of commercial work, including Federal Court House Bldg, schools, Justice Bldg, Capitol Bldg, State Police computer room, Food Stamp office including vault, Dental offices and Beauty salons, and various mall stores
