Fred Myers is my favorite store to shop at. It has just about everything you need. From food to clothes to electronics. Even a jewelry store. I always find something to buy besides food!

I really want to give Freddy’s 4 stars, but with the Fuel Station, I can’t. The lines there are usually like Russian bread lines. I ‘ve seen their employees move slower than wind. Christ almighty. Moving onto the store itself, it’s all good. Regular, friendly employees. Not a high turnover. Experienced. They know how to do their jobs. Good prices. However, that rewards program is fuct. You have to spend $ 1000 to get $ 10 back. Really?

I’m a big fan of the Market St. FM. The employees are always so helpful and the produce, all natural, and bakery areas have a nice market shopping vibe to them. The store seems just big enough to get around easily and find the things I need. The clientele can be a little dicey at times, but not as bad as the NE Salem location.

I will always remember this Fred Meyer as the Fred Meyer where I gave up on Fred Meyer. Somehow, I have always held onto the idea that there is a purpose for Fred Meyer in a world with Target: surely, it must be less expensive, more practical, or easier to resist. Well, that one star is a tribute to Fred Meyer’s skill in ensuring I don’t overspend. Because unlike Target, there is very little to tempt you here. For example, in the kids clothing department, where I actually needed to pick up a couple of basics, items like underpants and sweatshirts were not only lower quality than what you have a Target, but what was there was more expensive, even for the same item. Even more peculiar, it didn’t have the kind of seasonal essentials we were there to purchase: virtually no pool toys, for example. We were able to pick up a few groceries, but the selection of healthy options was relatively limited. So adiós, Fred. As of today, I look at you as a stop of last resort, with only minimal expectations, and only when there is no Target within a 50 mile radius.

I never have a problem with Fred Meyer at all. They’re always clean, well-stocked, and have pretty good prices on a lot of things. These guys have a big store with plenty of parking, plus a gas station. I checked out their electronics department to grab some movies and a charger cable, and the kids behind the counter were knowledgeable and friendly and right on point. Great prices too.

I love this Fred Meyers store. It has everything you need including electronics, food(dressing room is one customer at a time though), clothing, household goods, a chase bank(full service!) and even gasoline! The employees are very friendly and willing to Help in any department. The entire store seems very clean(even the restroom) and the produce section is very good. The bakery is not the best I’ve seen at a Fred Meyer, but it has just about everything you need. And yes, they usually have free samples of goodies at the bakery. The prices are fair, but not«blow your mind cheap». They do have deals and coupons, so you’ll have to be a savvy shopper to get the best deals. For those of us who are lazy they do offer the rewards card that helps you save on gas, and in my book that rocks. I would shop here again any time I’m in Salem.

Stay away from the deli. I had some chicken fingers that were hard as stones. I choked down one and threw the rest away.

The only reason I shop here is because its the closest grocery store to my house and it’s easy to get to. Like the S Salem store, the employees seem to delight in ignoring customers and openly complaining about each other. If you dare ask a question, you’re treated like you’re a interrupting some activity of national security, even if that activity is actually gossiping. This FM never has everything I want either. No regular eggnog on the 2nd weekend of Dec? They’ll carry a certain beer for a couple months, then never have it again. They’re chronically out of Juanitas chips, and I actually had a cashier tell me they hide them in the back, and if I ever want them I have to ask her because she«knows where they hide them,» like its some kind of controlled substance you have to ask for with a secret password. And they keep moving things to completely illogical places. Boca burgers are not in the organics section, or even with the frozen meats, but in with the frozen breakfast stuff. Half the brats are with the hot dogs, while the others are with the fresh chicken. TLDR: I’d avoid this FM.

This is a very large one stop store. If u need it, they should have it. The store seems well designed. Large isle’s, clean, and stocked full of everyday items. If u go here, be prepared to stay awhile. Large store!!!

This is our regular shopping place. We have been shopping here for my entire life. Never really had any problems with the store. I prefer it to Walmart tenfold.

This store always has the best customer service people working there. If you even come near an employee they ask if they can help you. I hope their management team treats them well–

Freddie’s has a pretty good selection of everything I am looking for. I love the organic and healthier choice chill aisle and got some strawberry kefir and almond milk. I don’t think I’m crazy about the set up and would probably do the layout of the store a bit differently. It just seems the deli and bakery are either not in the best place or not brightly lit enough or??? There’s a kids play area where you can leave your children for up to one hour. After a trying day with the tots it was worth the trip to Fred Meyer’s just for this one hour break!

Average Fred Meyer store. This one does have a fuel island. For each $ 100 you spend, you receive a 10 cent reduction on gasoline. As in all of Oregon, the station is mini-serve and you cannot pump your own gas. This store does not have a mainstream branded coffee outlet for some reason, but the deli has a VERYINEXPENSIVE«Kivu» espresso station. KIVU is a Kroger house branded coffee of fair quality.

Staff was great in the deli and seafood. The girl that rang me out was very sweet and was very fast. I wish I would have shopped here more before I moved it was a very good experience.

The cashier ursala was rude! I think it is time for her to retired. She had no basic customer service skill. She just scans the item. She doesnt ask«how are you» or say the«total» The variety is meh.

«What’s on your list today? You’ll find it at Fred Meyer.». Okay. I like Walmart. But you’ll never find everything on your list at Walmart. They’re always out of something. But Freddie’s is different. They do a pretty good job of keeping things in stock. Selection isn’t as wide/varied as it used to be, but it’s still a safer bet to come here if you don’t want to drive ip and down Lancaster.(Apparently, half the town does, though.) The store is very clean and bright. Shop the ads and clip the coupons and you can get amazing deals, on food and even DVDs.

Hard to park. Older interior(although their electronics section is remodeled). Large and expansive store — so a lot of walking — and searching for things. Not the best Freddies around. Oh well. It is nicely located(smack in the middle of Lancaster) — but it would be cheaper to go to the Walmart a couple blocks north of here. Overall, shop at the South Freddies if you can.

One of my favorite stores of all time. I come a few times a year to visit friends and once a year to go camping. This is my one stop for the camping trip, as I can buy supplies, even a tent, as well as provisions and beer! It’s conveniently located and easy to get in and out. There is even a gas station.
