I returned a few times and have kept my eye on how the stylist is cutting and have been very detailed on what I want done. So far so good. Maybe that time I went it was an inexperienced stylist? I will go again while always keeping my eyes on the cuts being given!

We arrived at 4:45p on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed with families with kids(it’s a small store). They close at 5:00p, said it would be about 30 minute wait, and it was. The stylist Robyn was eager to please both my teenage son and me(his haircut, my instructions). She took the time, despite the late hour, to thoroughly cut and thin out his thick hair and fix anything I asked. The price was reasonable($ 14), especially compared to what shops at the Rockingham Mall wanted. While Great Clips is not a relaxing salon experience, it fulfilled our needs to get a decent haircut for a reasonable price on a late Sunday afternoon.

Great Clips? Yah right! Even if you have a coupon go somewhere else!

The only reason that I went to Great Clips is that I had a $ 5 coupon that came in the mail. I read the poor reviews, both here and on Google but I figured that since I have short men’s cut that is pretty straightforward, that I hopefully would not run into any problems. Yes they tried to get to have me into their computer system– with name, phone, email, etc but I declined. I had to wait abt 10 minutes and got a decent cut. Would I go back? Maybe if I had another coupon.

Went in for a decent priced haircut and blowdry. Ended up paying only a few dollars less than I usually would at a high-end salon. Apparently my hair is considered ‘long’ so I was charged extra for the blowdry. My hair falls right above my shoulders, so I can’t imagine what they charge for people who actually have long hair. I’ll continue to try different places until I find something I like, this place wasn’t it.
