Perfect service. I walked in with a bent house key, trying to get a replacement since it was cracked. Walked out less than three minutes later with a flattened original key and a copy for less than three dollars. So what if the guy at the counter wasn’t super talkative, he did what I asked him and did it well.

I called Joes this morning around 7:30 when our toddler locked the door to his bedroom and was relieved that someone answered the phone on the first try. The owner himself showed up a few minutes later and got us into our son’s room in no time. He was very professional & pleasant. We were charged the exact price quoted over the phone, so no surprises. Highly recommend!

Learned advice: Find another business for your lock and key needs. We had a relatively simple job for Dave: to run our security camera wires through the ceiling. My business partner had spent hours installing the cameras and getting the angles just right for state certification, and all we required was for Dave to run the wires through the ceiling pop tiles. Dave quoted us $ 80 an hour, which is reasonable for such work. He arrived an hour late, due to a doctor’s appointment. Twice I had to call for updates because he did not think to call his customers about the extended delay. My business partner and I were in and out of the office all day so we couldn’t supervise his work, but as a someone who should be a professional, Dave shouldn’t need supervision. We wish we would have stayed to watch him. For whatever reason, Dave removed all the cameras, destroying the anchor points and ruining the camera angles, drilled holes in the wall to run wires through them, and most of the cameras were not reattached properly(and none were repositioned) when he was done. Several of the ceiling tiles have holes in them due to whatever he did. Basically, we paid Dave $ 280 to ruin hours of work because he can’t follow directions. Combine that with the safe we bought from Dave and him losing the combination, which required drilling into the safe to open it… honestly, save yourself the headaches and go somewhere else.

Dave from Joes was great. Came in 15 minutes at 7:30 pm on a Sunday night. Was professional and at a reasonable rate. Even lubricated a troubled lock not part of the call for no charge. Thanks Dave!

Dave, the owner, came out to our house at 9:30PM to solve our problem. I’m really impressed with his speed and efficiency. He was also friendly. The charge was reasonable for a late night house call.

Joe’s Safe and Lock helped me out today. My tenant unexpectedly closed his business and I had to get the locks changed asap. I called a couple other locksmiths who hemmed and hawed about the job before declining(I guess they don’t run their businesses to make money). I call Joe’s — they answered right away and agreed to meet at my location in just an hour. Joe’s Safe and Lock was right on time for the appointment we set. Dave went right to work and was done in a jiffy. A real pro. The service was also a tremendous value. I will use Joe’s Safe and Lock again.
