Lawn Doctor was founded in 1967 so we have nearly 40 years of expertise in treating lawns. We began servicing homes and communities on the north shore of Boston from Marblehead-​Peabody down to the Winchester-​Woburn-​Arlington area in 2014.

I have used Scott’s and TruGreen lawn services and neither of them have been able to eliminate the very stubborn violets throughout my lawn. Much to my delight and surprise, the good Lawn Doctor was able to eliminate 95% of them in just one season. Amazing! They certainly know what they are doing. My lawn never looked so lush… and dark green. It was a pleasure working with Paul and his crew and I highly recommend their service and the results they were able to produce for my problem lawn.

Paul Grand Pre of Lawn Doctor has completely turned our lawn around! After years of semi-​neglect, we lost complete control and decided to look for some professional lawn help. Paul came to our house and sat down with us last spring and together we came up with a plan for our yard. He told us it would take the full year to bring it back and that we would be very pleased by this spring. Boy, was he right! Our lawn looks amazing… as a matter of fact, it was looking great by last October. No more embarrassing lawn and no more lumping bags of fertilizer and whatnot from Home Depot in a desperate attempt to fix it ourselves. His prices are very reasonable and his customer service is excellent. I don’t know why we didn’t do this long ago!

Lawn Doctor did a terrific job improving our lawn. Not only are they reliable and reasonably priced, but also our lawn has never looked better over the 22+ years that we have lived in our house! Also, their mosquito and tick service is very effective and allows us to sit out on our patio well into the evening without bother.
