First time in, tried the teriyaki beef and spicy chicken dish which was great — loved the flavors. Lots of regulars seemed to be in the restaurant, told me how good the food was. Definitely worth a try, and I’ll be coming back again.

Love this place and yes its the best one of all the stores, probably because the original owner owns it and her daughter works there. Great food and staff, highly recommend the spicy chicken with brown rice… yummmmmmmmy

I am sorry … spent $ 60 for dinner on take out and actually did a tip too because the order taker was very nice… … i asked for a couple spicy sauces and they said I need to pay 25 cents for each one or they could remove some others sauces… i said that was fine and she started digging thru all the bags … i said nevermind. Last time here… hope food is good. Upgraded to two stars because food was good and family enjoyed it… i am just disappointed in the service and attitude of this one

Forever a fan of the Love Love chain. Before my vegan days, I loved the teriyaki bowl(their most popular item). Now, I order their vegetable curry and miso soup. The miso is top notch and the curry is just right. All the entrees are served with a delicious cold cabbage salad that is to die for! The service is great and they really pride themselves on helping the customer.

went in for a dinner and was very disappointed with my food. Beef was tough and overcooked, salad was cold stir fly vegetables. If I wanted a cup of tea it was extra so they gave me a water glass but didn’t tell me where the water was. the worst was the Men’s bathroom which was filthy like a 3rd country. don’t eat here may not be safe.

This is my go to place when I’m in a hurry for hot and good food. I’ve been coming here for years and always get the Hot chicken. I should change it up but I really like that Hot chicken.

Love Love this place! Great service all around. Food is fantastic! Mostly get the hot chicken teriyaki bowl with a side of there onion rings. Fast service whether you sit and eat or call in your order. Atmosphere is clean, very organized and I’ve never came in and saw a dirty table(they are very quick to clean everything). I’ve never had a bad experience here.

Of all the other local Love Loves… this location is best. I have been to 3. This location is the only one I like. Can’t explain why, it just is.

This is one of the better Love Love’s. Very clean and more of a restaurant environment rather than a fast food joint. Ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl with rice and salad. Very good. Not a long wait for the food to arrive. Two people ate for $ 18.80 which was the lunch price and included soda. Would definitely return.

We come here just about every other week. Very good food and nice, friendly atmosphere. I used to get the chicken, rice, & gyoza plate, but since dieting, I order the hot chicken salad; which I still haven’t quite figured out why they use lettuce for that, but the salad that comes w/your meal is cabbage. You would think it would be the same ‘salad’ but it’s not!

I’m not sure why all these reviewed are 5 star. Over cooked frozen shrimp with no taste. Over cooked spicy chicken with no spicy — even the side of spicy sauce they brought out had ketchup flavor! Everything was too salty. I’ll keep looking for good teriyaki.

I had the chicken bowl with rice and steamed vegetables. It’s very yummy. I really liked the teriyaki sauce. It’s not too sweet.

Wow and Wow and WOW! I was so surprised at how enormously humongous the lunch portion size was! I got the spicy chicken and goyza plate and ate it ALL! I thought I was going to explode — next time I find someone to share that with me or take half back and save for lunch the next day. The sauce on the chicken was great and the chicken was moist and tender. The goyza was nice and crispy on the outside — not oily at all. It came with a scoop of rice and a simply dressed salad. Thumbs up and I will be back!!!

This love loves is the best one out of all of them… After visiting the Keizer one I had to go to another just to make sure they were cut from a different cloth. Glad I did! What a huge difference from the portions served to the spicy sauce used. And they still serve the spicy pork plate unlike the Keizer store…

Good solid teriyaki dishes. I had the ribs which were nice and tasty. I loved the cabbage/green onion/raw ramen crunchies/sesame dressing salad stir fry. So delicious! And a perfect way to cook cabbage too. The rice had a great sticky texture, perfect for dipping in teriyaki sauce. BD enjoyed his chicken, also. The side of gyozas were nicely crisped all around, yummy. All together, my rib meal(with rice and cabbage), a side of gyozas, BD’s chicken bowl(rice, miso soup, cabbage), and two drinks came out to be around $ 25. Clean — even the bathrooms, friendly and quick service. Solid three stars.

Finally got to go to Love Love today with the crew from work. I’ve been ogling this chain since we got to Salem, but my husband has been hesitant to go(a former resident of Nagoya, he is suspicious of American Teriyaki). Luckily, my co-workers are not Japanese food elitists. I had the lunch special spicy chicken and gyoza. The chicken had just a nice flavorful kind of hotness(as opposed to an intense burn that covers up the taste of the food and forces you to drown every bite in ice water). The gyoza was good, but not outstanding. I make potstickers at home and prefer them fried on only one side. I think LLT deep-fries theirs. Anyway, they were uniformly crispy all the way around and just a little bland compared to the flavor powerhouses of the chicken and the salad. Oh, did I not mention the salad? Cabbage, crispy noodles, green onion and sesame dressing. Super yummy. I can absolutely see this place becoming a lunch habit for me. The service was good. It is an order-at-the-counter place where they bring out the food(quickly). Even though we were there in the middle of the lunch rush, the place was clean and efficient. Very Japanese!

I got their hot chicken bowl for $ 5.50, requesting it extra spicy to satisfy my craving for spicy food. The chicken was good for what it was. I appreciated the wonderful teriyaki flavors and the lovely grill marks on the moist chicken. However, the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce again virtually negated any chance that my «extra spicy» request would come to fruition. There was NO spice in this chicken bowl at all. Even people who are deathly afraid of spice would have eaten this bowl. Where’s the fun in that for a spicehead like myself? The Oriental salad was clearly meant to be eaten right away. It’s basically serving as the«bed» for the chicken in the bowl, so the greens will wilt over time. The noodles in that salad also softened and really became more unappetizing as the meal wore on. I definitely would have preferred the salad in its own container. The interior was nice, but I would have liked it to be brighter and«happier.» It’s already a small place, so lighter-colored walls and brighter lights could make the place seem larger.

As good as it gets! This place is the best. I have tried teriyaki all over the northwest and this is the best. Great service, fast and tasty. The basics are done well(#1 Chicken Teriyaki) as well as the other menu items. I always make a point of eating here while visiting relatives.
