I always just get the ToGo salad bar. Awesome deal at $ 5.95−7.95 depending on size. Salad is usually stocked up pretty good. Homemade potato salad is bomb. Easy and convenient if in a rush. Avoid high lunch rush. 2:30−3pm is quiet n no line usually. Friendly staff and place kept nice n clean.

Haven’t been here for awhile and was looking forward to a bowl of soup and a bagel. Customer service was terrible. Felt like I inconvenienced the staff by patronizing their business. Got my order to go, and noticed there was no cream cheese for my bagel. I asked if I might have some cream cheese, and the staff said«for 1.25…» Seriously? You sell bagels and charge for cream cheese? That’s like charging people to butter their toast or charging for ketchup when you order French fries! Probably my last visit.

A hidden gem! Traveling through the area from out of state, and saw a local chiro as my back was out from all the driving. He highly recommended this place, so we went for lunch. AMAZING!!! We had the chicken salad on the cheese bagel, and the salad bar. Food was delicious, and plentiful, and very reasonable prices. Totally satisfied! Wish we had you guys in South Dakota!

The bagels look and taste like a grocery store bagel: fluffy & bland. Also disappointing that they gave us styrofoam boxes to go. The place is clean and there are LOTS of tables. We were on I-5 and wanted to support a local business rather than Starbucks. The sign says«baked in Salem» but it doesn’t seem like they were baked on site.

Alright, pump the brakes bagel snobs. I know this bagel shop is in a strip mall, but don’t let your grandma’s decorating deter you. Are the bagels cheap? Yes. Good? Yes. Fast service? Yes. Is this the most amazing bagel I have ever eaten? Probably not, and that’s ok. I would order the ½ sandwich(which is still a full bagel). I will gladly eat here again except they aren’t open on the weekends, which is kind of a bummer.

Family owned. Very clean. Great service. Fresh bagels and soups(plus sandwiches, salads, etc). Great variety. One of my favorite lunch spots when it’s chilly and my favorite place to go when I want a breakfast sandwich or bagel on-the-go.

Not going to lie my first thought was«a place that serves just bagels? That’s lame» but then someone brought me one and I ate it, along with my words. I take back my mental poke-funs because this place is pretty cool. And damn good. I’ve gone back already :)

Wow. Prices sure have changed. Now $ 7.50 for a bagel sandwich and $ 3 for a tiny cup of soup. Very disappointing.

I take my parents here every time I’m in town. The price is right and the staff members are always on top of things and friendly. Definitely a locals secret and I recommend. :-)

Best bagels I’ve ever had — only wish they were open on Saturday morning because I have a hard time getting there during the week. The Swiss cheese bagel is our favorite, and the biscuits and gravy are DELICIOUS!!! Huge fan.

Not sure why«Fountain of Juice» is on the title of this restaurant here on Unilocal.I am pretty sure that part of the name has been dropped. Just sayin. Anyway, I have eaten here three times in the last several months and have been pleased each time. I find that making the soup decision is the hardest part of eating here. However, if you ask for the soup sampler, you can get a stack of their little bowls and sample them all! The sandwiches are amazing! The ingredients are fresh and their bagels are soft! They are tucked back in off the street but there is plenty of parking. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I found myself in the area and decide to give it a shot. I want too hungry so opted for a Chicken Salad sandwich on a Tomato Basil Bagel with a cup of soup(Tomato with Raviolini). The total $ 5.50. The amount and tastiness was perfect for the price. It was filling and the chicken salad was very good. The bagel was the shooting star and fit great with the sandwich. I enjoyed the soup, but though I should have gone with the the loaded baked potato soup. Now that one looked delicious. The store was a lot more open and nicer then expected. IMO was clean and there was staff cleaning and sweeping throughout my meal, which kept it sparkly clean. I was surprised to see most of the tables filled, considering this place is tucked out of the way an easy to miss. That must be a good thing.

great place for lunch. Made fresh bagels and soups. The bagels are not new York style but very good. Highly recommended.

Have these people ever eaten a bagel? From a bagel lover’s perspective this was a big disappointment. Greasy, undercooked bagels.

I am amazed that Salem has yet to establish a decent bagel shop. I’d classify this place as a deli, not a bagel shop. The bagels are fine, but nothing spectacular. Perhaps the owners should consult the menus of some popular bagel shops in bigger cities. Also, can someone in this town with a deli get with the times at some point and start offering some decent vegetarian options(field roast, faux sausage, etc.). Additionally, one of the reasons for the two stars here is the hours on the weekends.

I love this place. I go there as often as possible considering its only open during my wrk days. Lots of bagle choices made fresh. Lots of fresh soups. like 6+ or more each day. I always get the salad bar and a bagle. I like the everything bagle. The prices can’t be beat!!! Very affordable. Staff in nice too. My kids love going here. If u like a good fresh bagle… go here.

We had to take our baby girl to PDX for a Dr appt. On the way up we were all getting hungry and my wife was feeling like bagels! So I of course Unilocaled Salem for«breakfast» and we found Rolling Bagels. This place is on Lancaster just off I-5 which made it convenient for getting on and off I-5. Prices? Awesome! My wife and I both had the onion bagels and my boy had a chocolate chip bagel which came to 5.95. The bagels were HUGE(at first I was eating mine like a burger) with SODAMNMUCH cream cheese I guarantee most of you would wipe off over half of what they put on. It’s fine with me, I love cream cheese and bagels haha… but even so… I had to take off a little bit to enjoy it towards the end. Service was friendly and they had a large selection of bagels to choose from. Place was very clean and like Erin B. said… really kitchy-old-lady like. But i would rather be in a place like that than a hole in the wall dump! Bagels tasted great, the price was great, and if I need a bagel heading north again I’ll stop here no doubt.
