Very helpful associate was assisting me in the brilliantly colored hair dye area, was very easy to talk to, attentive, genuine and knowledgable. Now I wish I got her name, she herself has dyed her hair numerous times so knew first hand the best brands how long they last and how bright they would be since we had a similar shade of brunette hair. She directed me easily and swiftly to the ‘quick blue bleach’ and what to mix it with and was very patient as I asked her a billion questions since this will be my first time dyeing my hair a foreign color. Will be back and she even inspired me to pay $ 5 to sign up for their ‘beauty club’ which saved me $ 4 and got a five dollar coupon. Way to go. Lots of parking and great selection. Biggest store from here to Molalla.

I’m new to Oregon and I was relieved to find a Sally’s since I am a frequent customer. This location isn’t too far of a drive from my house either which is great. This last week was filled with many trips and purchases from the store as I ran other errands. Today will be the last time I go in however. Two of the employees there(multi colored hair, tats and/or body jewelry) not only appeared gloom and doom miserable, but their body language and tone of voice when speaking to me made me feel like my questions were either stupid or that they couldn’t wait to finally get away. I had to return for second trip in one day because I ran out of hair color. I had more questions regarding the color so I had to «bother» the women again. Why didn’t I just Google that damn questions before I left?! At least then I wouldn’t feel like an annoyance where I am spending MYMONEY. When I went to pay, the woman(didn’t get name) with facial piercings and pink in her hair asked for my ID. I showed her my husband’s ID and explained that my credit card was in the mail but for now I had to use his but I had cards with both our names and some that just belonged to me but clearly, we both shared the same last name. Then I pulled out all my receipts from the last week which showed I used the same card. She still wouldn’t take the only payment method I had which honestly would have been understandable. Instead of, «I’m so sorry I can’t, company policy…» and been friendly, she became very defensive. Before retrieving my previous receipts, I explained I had paid earlier with the same credit card. She snapped back, «No you didn’t. I rang you up and you didn’t use that card.» I corrected her and told her she did not ring me up as I pulled out the receipts. Her response, «Uh, yeah and you paid cash.» Again, NO, I used my husband’s credit card and here’s the receipt to show it. I was & still am baffled at how she was speaking to me and why so defensive with a customer of all people. Just when I started saying that I would have to drive back home then have my husband return so please put this stuff to the side, she spoke OVER me and started explaining that the employee who did allow me to use my husband’s credit card would now be subject to company reprimand! She kept talking but at that point I stopped listening to her and explained that what she’s telling me she’s going to do to the nice young lady who rang me up earlier that day is none of my business. By the way, earlier I had been in the store with my family so she didn’t do anything wrong but I couldn’t even get a word in to explain that to this woman. That sale would not have been lost had she not started snapping at me nor giving me the chance to ask if she could hold the bag till my husband returned for it all. Not only is that 1 sale gone, but I will not return to this location for anything.

This Center Street Sally’s location is very conveniently located across Lancaster Mall and McGrath’s. The store is rather small but they have all the basics and so far they have had almost everything I’ve needed. It’s good to watch the sale ads or check online and then go in during the promotions to get free totes or purses or other BOGO items. Make sure you sign up to get additional discounts!
