Me and my cousins come here almost regularly. I definitely recomend this place. It is better than Sushi Kyo when it comes to price. Good quality sushi for a lower cost here. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing.

Customer service makes all the difference(hence the 4th star) and this upbeat host is what makes me want to return. Seeing customers return and the host making them feel welcome puts this rotary sushi joint on top of the list in Salem. The Sushi in my opinion is better than the other belts. Atmosphere is cozy, hip, and my kids can reach the belt. Happy Hour special is great! Definitely try them out!

Best conveyor belt sushi I’ve had in Salem so far. Good variety and not just a bunch of California rolls like most places. The volcano roll and caterpillar rolls were delicious. Also, it’s apparently always happy hour. So, great prices all the time!

Sushi is my oldest daughter’s favorite dining out experience and since we had not yet tried Sushi Takara we stopped by on her birthday. We found it to be on par with the other«track» places in town. The quality was good although like others, what happens to be on the track caters most to the majority — my simplistic desire for«just fish on rice» only left me with a couple options. But she enjoyed her birthday and that was the goal. We’d visit again.

Great experience: good food for a rockin price in a comfy atmosphere. The service was top notch too. I will be back especially with the happy hour prices. You can’t beat it if you want good sushi for the family at a reasonable price.

I love this place and come here every time I can when I make a run up to Oregon. I usually don’t get stuff off the conveyor belt, but only because I know what I like and they’re great about making what you want. Very fresh, great quantity vs. price ratio, great service. They get a easy full 5 stars from me.

It’s always a little sketchy to try a new conveyor sushi track place. I Unilocaled this place and it seemed like I could trust it. Guess what, this place is AWESOME. Staff was very nice and greeted me well. The belt lacked a little on variety but they are very good at making special orders. I do wish they had ahi towers as I miss those from my place I went before moving here. All in all, I will be going back on a regular basis.

Came with my wife and daughter. My daughter loves sesame seed balls. These didn’t disappoint. She gets the same thing at sushi kyo. These were fresher, and were full of the sweet red bean paste. Her habit is to not let a single sesame seed escape her clutches. We like pickled cucumber. I prefer it on the tart side. These are on the sweet side. But I could taste the sesame seeds they used. .. Which made them very enjoyable. The conveyor belt makes for a quick meal and inexpensive given their happy hour prices throughout the whole day. But they have specialty rolls that are prepared as whole rolls and not on the happy hour menu. Haven’t tried this yet. We ordered tempura shrimp. Freshly battered and cooked crisp and perfect(not over cooked or chewy). Delicious. However they didn’t have tempura sauce. I asked for some and was informed it would take 15 minutes to make. It isn’t traditional but I dipped my tempura in some soy. We ordered the miso soup. Strong dashi taste which I prefer. Seaweed and a few small squares of soft tofu added to my joy. A few other random plates: calamari, cucumber rolls, California rolls. The establishment was clean. High booths(I’m short. My feet didn’t touch the ground when I was sitting), firm cushions. Bar seating that could probably seat 12. Half though would not be facing the sushi chefs. We’ll come back. I think I’ll try the spider roll.

This restaurant is awesome! Everyday they pick a certain colored plate and charge that plate $ 1.50& the other plates are charged as $ 1.85! That’s a great price. Their sushi is also super fresh. The only downside though is that when I came here to eat, they put out some of their desserts on the train, and all the desserts were completely frozen. My boyfriend couldn’t cut through his cheesecake with the fork, it was like a rock. I hope that they’ll start thawing the desserts out before they place them on the train. Other then that, this restaurant is definitely worth coming to!

This place is legit, my first ever conveyor belt sushi experience! Pros: –Super cheap lunch special which pretty much runs all day. –Variety of sushi, allows you to try new things. –Don’t have to commit to a whole roll as portions are 3 – 4 pieces per platter –Can order anything on menu if it’s not on conveyor belt for lunch special price. –Have other things like pot stickers on the conveyor belt. Cons: –How do they know how long the sushi has been on the belt for… seriously there is no way to track it… I’ve asked! LOL –They do a lot of imitation crab meat as their«filler». –There Salem roll is not very impressive.

Been here a few times, & one of the only decent places to get sushi in this area(the other being Woodburn’s Sora Sushi). It gets my sushi cravings fulfilled, & that’s what matters. Happy Hour all day is another plus.

They have a special going on now because they want to create some business — Happy Hour is now ALLDAY! No plate more than $ 1.85! The selection on the belt can be sparse only because they need more people to come in and they don’t want to waste food. TIP: you can ask them to make you any of the plates listed FRESH! There you go! My hubby and I went there for our anniversary and both had bento boxes that were huuuugemongus! We also took a couple of plates from the belt… soo yummy! We’ll be back for sure! come and check this place out! *I gave 4 stars only because I used to live in Vegas and the sushi there was the best in the world!!*

Coming from Hawaii, fish is not great quality, but they make up for it in portions, authenticity, price and creativity with menu. Would recommend to a friend for sure, and love that the man making sushi speaks Japanese with the other coworkers. Very spacious seating and good lighting. Could be better customer service, you seat yourself and no complimentary green tea upon entry. Also no typical Japanese welcome as in authentic Japanese restaurants. Happy hour is the best! Lots or parking, easy to find, close to my house. Great selection for happy hour.

Great variety for belt sushi and every plate is $ 1.85 or less a majority of the day. Many places skimp out on speciality rolls while they run happy hour, but not here. You get to eat fresh and unique style sushi for cheap. Everything I had, had great flavor and I was greeted with great service as well! I’ll absolutely return!

Happy hour goes on almost every day. $ 1.85 or less for everything on the belt. As far as the belt goes, best sushi on a belt in Salem in my opinion. Not the best sushi in Salem, just best on a belt. So if you’re hungry and you want to eat without waiting, this is a great option.

I really want to come here and see this place packed, I’ve been here three times and every time, the place is dead. It kills me, not because I’m a masochist, who loves waiting for a table, but because the food here is excellent. This sushi is as fresh as it gets. The prices here are amazing, they’ve got a happy hour running pretty much all day from what I gather, every thing on their conveyor belt is $ 1.85 or less. Even without their extended hours«happy hour», this place still has great prices, though I’ve never seen them on my bill. I always leave this place stuffed and happy, without spending more than $ 20 for me and my girlfriend to eat a meal.

The concept of this place is great. I don’t mind the conveyor belt method of delivering my sushi. My problem was two things: 1: it is impossible to tell what you’re grabbing off the belt… the color coded plates are helpful but labeling the lids would be even better and 2: the sushi was mediocre at best. Not a fan of a Philly roll being done with smoked salmon. Not sure smoked salmon needs to be in anything labeled sushi… but that could be a personal preference. Service was good, food just okay and concept fun. Would not be me first choice for sushi.

Wow! What a great place with great sushi and great prices! It was clean and bright and the employees were very friendly. The waitress told us that everything except green plates were a $ 1.85, with the greens being a bit less. The portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Definitely a good sushi track restaurant in Salem and we will definitely be back!
