Withnell Dodge

The service center staff is rude, uncaring and completely under staffed. To wait two weeks or more for a warranty transmission failure because management can’t keep transmission specialists on staff is not my problem. What is my problem is that I and my family are without a car for this period of time.
Due to their lack of knowledge, they can’t even confirm, after initial diagnosis that the transmission failure was internal and should be covered under warranty that it will be covered. Therefore no loaner car. They have zero concept of customer retention.
Basically they do not care.
«No» and «I don’t know» is about the only answers they are able to give me. Very upset with the way I was treated and the lowest level of service possible.

I am writing this review for Byron, the service manager. I have had the pleasure to work with him a couple of times. I am living with ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease which has changed the way I speak. Byron is very patient and makes an extra effort to understand me. He provides a great service and is simply the very best. I highly recommend Byron and Withnell Dodge.

Roxie in the service department made what had been an awful experience with findley dodge in Wilsonville super painless:) i don’t live or work in Salem, but have a contract with mopar for oil changes. Saturdays at withnell have extended waiting periods, and the place in Wilsonville had me wait on a weekday for over two hours without touching my truck. There were also three recalls that needed to be addressed. Roxie hooked me up with a rental car at no charge, dropped my truck off monday and picked it up Tuesday with no out of pocket or waiting. She did a great job :)

I found the Van I was looking for on line at Withnell’s Dodge in Salem Oregon after negotiations broke down at another dealer in Vancouver Washington! I drove the 50+ miles down and bought a 2015 Dodge High Roof Pro-​master Van off the lot for $ 11 000 less than the 2016 previously offered by the dealer in Vancouver; although it had a whopping total of 87 miles on it !” [tic] I am very satisfied with this van now being converted into an ice cream rig!” I was greeted at the door after disembarking from my Honda which is my personal car by Tony and shown to the free coffee; I was after a 2 minute wait was introduced to Mr Brent Baker who was our sales Representative; no High pressure or any of that nonsense! After a test drive around Salem came the down payment, paperwork and signing!” then accompanied by my Bride drove the Van home? very professional folks; Larry from La Center;

Surprised to see so many bad reviews! Helped by Freddy Cruz. We have been looking for a mini van around $ 14,000. Multiple places kept showing us $ 25,000 vehicles. Freddy took us straight to the vehicle in our range, we test drove it, and we’re very happy with it.
At the end of the night he reviewed our paperwork, and noticed the financial lady Gayle (also very helpful) hadn’t listed a 2^nd key fob, ran back and fixed our paperwork. Very impressed.

I won’t ever go back as I was asked to not come back cause they feel they could never make me happy as a customer! I feel they are sweeping things under the rug as they are tired of my reviews! Well I love my dodge and will go to Roberson Motors for all my warranty repairs and oil changes! Negative words will get around better and quicker than any positive words! There were some moments things got better but I feel they just don’t want to make the customer feel important! Well good bye Withnell!!!

I don’t have much to review except a lousy first impression. Sorry I didn’t get names, but the two salesmen I encountered were knuckleheads. I stopped by to enquire about a dual rear wheeled pickup with a 6.4 Hemi engine. The salesman I talked to said he didn’t think the Hemi is available in a DRW pickup. But to be sure, he asked one of his cohorts, who confirmed that the Cummins diesel is the only engine available in DRW pickups. Later, I did a search on
and found some 6.4 Hemi /​DRW combinations on the new market. I’m a Ford man that’s considering crossing over. But seeing a sales staff at the Dodge dealership ignorant of their product will probably help maintain my loyalty to Ford.

the salesman was helpful and nice but overall the communication from the sales manager and salesman was poor. a customer shouldn’t have to make repeated calls and ultimately go down to dealership in person to find out the status of a pending sale

Terrible service and communication. If you cannot diagnose or fix a vehicle properly do not take it in for the repair.

The star is for the Withnell dodge as the dealership, every time I call I get tossed around. When j clarify what I need with each person there is a total lack of communication and everything gets messed up despite my best efforts to even do some of the work for them. They are VERY pushy to sell you a car and have some shady ways of denying things they have done just to stay in the clear. I wouldn’t trust them with anything.
HOWEVER Withnell dodge the express services DESERVES 5 STARS. The people who work to do the oil changes and maintenance on the vehicles are very kind, polite and explain everything you need and why or how something could be a problem or would need to be fixed. Unfortunately they are spendy because they are on the same scheme as the dealership. Also they DO NOT HAVE A SHUTTLE SERVICE. The workers at express can call you a cab that can be charged to Withnell but are told to encourage people to wait instead of the extra expense. They are very efficient and work hard to do their jobs well and fast to make up for the inconvenience.
word to the wise DONT USE THE CAR WASH, they will scratch your car and deny responsibility. WORST CAR WASH IN TOWN.
TIP:
–buy your oil and filter then have them change it
–buy your air filter then have them replace it
–DO NOT use the car wash.

Just bought a car that I found on their website. Agreed to buy it and while I was waiting, Brent took the car to have it «washed». When I came out to get it, there was a huge scratch on the rear bumper that wasn’t there 10 minutes earlier. They tried to say it was even though I pulled up the online pictures and showed them it wasn’t there in the pictures and it wasn’t there 10 minutes earlier when we walked around it. They took it back again to buff it out… they must have used rocks because they added 4 larger scratches over the original scratch. Tried saying it wasn’t their fault even though they knew it wasn’t there a few minutes earlier. Now they had us drive to their other dealer across town to have it buffed out by the «profressionals». Didn’t fix it and their only response, «well, it is As-​Is». Are you serious? Freaking lying cowards. I’m a member of the Armed Forces and will insure that no military member shops there so they’re not ripped off like I was. All of them are liars and scammers. They will reply to this no doubt saying it wasn’t their fault and not their policy and blah blah blah… more lies. I guarantee it. oh and their $ 25 gift card, for online purchases only unless you pay $ 4. Again, more lies.

Had a great experience buying a new truck! Trust me when I say my husband can be a real picky pain in the butt! But the Internet team at Withnell was awesome! Rich, Bret, and Crystal where so patient and accommodating. We dealt with five different dealers, drove countless different makes and models, sent tons of email questions. Withnell internet team stayed right with us through the whole process of finding what we want and needed and the best price by far! Worth the drive from Wilsonville! Thanks Guys!
