Rich is awesome. My friends were in need of a very very last minute officiant and he came through! He was efficient, professional, and the bride felt he had such kind words to share during the ceremony. If anyone has a need for an officiant — I would recommend him! Thanks for a great job Rich!

Rich Leggett: Totally professional, friendly, and detail oriented. My husband and I got married at the Salinas Courthouse in August. His knowledge of the process: which lines to stand in, which forms to fill out, which forms to photograph (since we would not be getting a copy) were invaluable. Since Rich knew the clerks, we got prompt and courteous service. His business relies on this being a great experience. It was. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.

Couldn’t have asked for a better officiant to renew our wedding vows. Rich went above and beyond and helped orchestrate a surprise vow renewal. It was an amazingly raw and magical moment. Priceless. There are no words that could ever express our gratitude.

I will say that Richard and his lovely wife were so nice and made us feel very comfortable. I had a few changes in our process with dates and times but Richard was always flexible and patient. He and his wife even provided us pictures which I thought was a bonus! Very nice people. You can’t go wrong with Richard.

Richard is a wonderful officiant, very patient, kind, and only wants to provide you the best service possible. He has decent prices and is easy to contact. It was a pleasure to work with this man!

If you’re looking for a wedding officiant that is reliable, fairly priced, detail oriented, and most importantly, AWESOME at his job, look no further than Richard Leggett. Rich officiated at our wedding this past September in Monterey and my wife and I are very grateful to have found him.
Prior to the ceremony, Rich was always easy to reach via email, phone, and in-​person to answer all of our questions and to help us figure out all the details of our ceremony. He’s friendly, gives great advice based on years of officiating experience, and does a great job helping you figure out everything that needs to be decided for the ceremony. We had a fairly standard processional/​recessional but also threw in a few extra components — Rich was more than happy to work with us and also gave us useful feedback on how to put it all together.
On our big day, Rich led our ceremony flawlessly! There’s a calm, yet confident quality to his voice and demeanor, and he delivered our vows in a truly heartfelt manner that we’ll remember for years to come.
One word of advice for anyone looking to hire an officiant or any other vendor (DJ, photographer, etc.) for their wedding… find people that are in the business because they love to be in it and not because they’re looking to make a buck. You can tell Richard is one of those guys that loves his job — it shows!

Richard was a great officiant, he made things simple and easy for us, also flexible. Which was perfect for us since it was planned in 2weeks. He also made things feel comfortable. Over all he’s a great officiant. :)
