Well I have a newfound appreciation for Salinas cops :) I admit, I had(and love) tinted car windows. In salinas, it was never an issue.(6 years of driving) I moved to Berkeley, and for the chick cop who«pulled me over» after parking in front of my house, gave me a citation for tinted windows. I visited a local coffee shop, and the officers were so nice and signed off my citation and made some good jokes about the citation(and the many mistakes on it). Anywho, I’m so thankful Salinas people stay nice and humble.(Berkeley is crazy!)

Super friendly officers and staff! Officer Milward is very professional and efficient! My VIN verification was done much faster than I expected! Definitely worth the wait and no fee for service!

I have finally found a reason to visit the local CHP office. They will sign your fix-it tickets for free! Many cities will charge you an «administration fee» on top of your court«dismissal fee.» So remember, if you have a fix-it ticket, visit your local CHP. The one is Salinas is very nice and clean with spacious parking. The officer in the front looked bored when I arrived, but I don’t blame him, he probably wants to be out there writing tickets. I have a lot of respect for any law enforcement in Salinas. God knows they earn their pay. Fremont CHP… that is another story — pulling over soccer moms and techies… boo
