My Family has been going to Dr. Detroit’s Auto Clinic as long as Rick B. has owned and it he is without doubt the best Mechanic in the county. His pricing is more than Fair and his work is exceptional. If you want a Mechanic to be able to bring all your Vehicles too and know they will be running safely this is the place to go, he will also work with any special needs you may have. I highly recommend Dr. Detroit to anyone and we will continue to take ALL of our Vehicles here. Thank you guys for all your Great work, you guys are awesome!

Dr Detroit is by far the best shop in the area. Rick will treat you like family. However I drove by his shop on Market on 11−20−14 and saw that he is not there anymore and there are for rent postings on the building. I hope he just changed locations, but if anyone know what happened then can you please post on Unilocal.Thanks

We have taken our Honda Element and Mazda Miata to Dr. Detroit’s and have been very happy with the service. The prices are good, and the owner is honest (and very chatty). The garage dog Chanel is a rescued abused animal that is very friendly but shy. Extra points for anyone that rescues a dog in my book. I was concerned that the location on Market St. was a bit sketchy but really it wasn’t. I rode my bicycle back and forth to my house in south Salinas without a hitch. The pricing was very fair and the owner clearly has a passion for what he does. This shop came to us recommended by a friend and now I can see why.
