Heaven on Earth Furniture has gone way above the call of duty to support Veterans and their families. My agency has purchased more than a 100 mattresses and had zero issues with this company. They are honest and credible. I will continue to do business with Heaven on Earth Furniture and highly recommend it to all. A+++++ all the way.

I just recently bought a couple of things from this place for our new home that we just got and overall it was pretty nice experience. Pete was pretty nice and helpful and most of all, NOT PUSHY. If there’s one thing I hate, it’s a sales person just trying to get into my wallet. But that wasn’t the case here, He even went as far as to give us our options of financing if we need it. But again NOT PUSHY. Anyway, him and his wife were really nice and the best part was that i got same day delivery which was a plus because I needed something for our «home warming» party.
I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to buy new furniture or at least to window shop and see what they have.

This is to describe my bad experience with Pete at Heaven on Earth Furniture, 1135 Main St., Salinas 93 906. I arrive with my caregiver to look at beds. We tried out three different beds and I chose one that was very comfortable. I looked Pete in the eye and asked what happens if there is a problem when it’s delivered. He looked me back in the eye and said «if there is a problem, call me and I will make it right.» With that assurance, I felt really good about the transaction. Pete was very kind and courteous and helpful. The new bed was delivered and although very comfortable, my lower back hurt every time I got out of bed. I have never had back trouble before. I called Pete and told him about the pain I was experiencing. I was expecting him to make it right. Instead he became very rude on the phone and told me in a very loud and aggressive manner that I tried out the beds in the store, I chose the bed and what did I want him to do, buy me a new bed very few weeks!!? I was absolutely shocked. No more mister nice guy. I called back another time and he started yelling at me. He was not going to do anything to help me. I can’t believe the way I have been treated by Pete. I’m 71 years old, an Army veteran, retired with disabilities on a fixed income. I can’t afford to buy another bed at a different store. I should have gone to Sleep Train, where they give you 90 days to return the bed. My advice is to beware of Heaven on Earth Furniture. My experience as been Hell on Earth.

Another satisfied customer, if I could more than 5 stars I would, I have been buying furniture from Pete and Theresa for over 5years from bedroom sets, living room furniture, table lamps and whatever else I can think of, they are great people with excellence in customer service skills, they just delivered my beautiful dining set which they helped me pick out as to what my needs are, I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for any type furniture, they definitely put the needs of there customers first, I will continue buying my furniture from them, as always thank you Pete and Theresa.

I met Pete by chance when I was looking for a specific manufacturer of furniture.
I live in Soquel, and his store was in Salinas, but I thought I’d take a drive over there to talk to him.
I’m so glad I did.
You could want to meet a nice Gentleman, under any circumstances, and his sincere desire to want to help me make my purchase was beyond my expectations.
He made sure that there was no doubt what so ever in my decision about a special order purchase.
We moved forward in a very methodical manner making sure all bases were covered concerning the product I ordered.
My sofa finally arrived in a very reasonable time frame, and I can honestly say, It was one of the most pleasant retail purchase experiences I have ever made.
So, if you’re looking to make a furniture purchase, and possibly need some help because the item you want isn’t just sitting on the showroom floor, I highly recommend going to See Pete at Heaven On Earth in Salinas.
His business is truly what family is all about, and makes you feel like you are part of it.

There is really no point to go anywhere else. I’ve always felt like I am walking into a car dealership when walking into a furniture store but HoEF is nothing of the sort, Pete is one of the kindest and caring people I have met in my life and will go above and beyond to help you through whatever situation that may be.
Seriously just go here and experience what every other review is saying.
Its amazing, the selection is phenomenal and you just can’t go wrong here. Will always come here as long as I am close to Salinas and recommend it to anyone that is hunting for furniture.

Very friendly, welcoming, and professional… Ordered a dining set as well as a coffee table and end tables. Furniture came in very fast, undamaged, and the delivery team was very friendly and professional. I would definitely buy from this store again! The store maybe a bit smaller than a main stream furniture store but they have catalogs with very competitive prices! Plus I am a firm believer in supporting small businesses!

My husband and I set foot and made a purchase for the first time in a furniture store. We visited two other stores before setting foot in Heaven On Earth Furniture. We entered this store at a busy time, but we were pleased with our overall experience. We will need more furniture in the future as we are newlyweds and recently purchased a home. We will definitely be back to this furniture store and we highly recommend it!

First off… i wanted to say that this is my first review. Not a big fan on writing them but had to make an account and write about this place. I went to so many different furniture stores to look for a dining table. I found the one I liked at Ashley furnitures and went to this store with the item number to see if I could get a better deal. Pete helped me and he gave me a great deal and delivery/​installation was only $ 35 (to marina). Other places charges $ 50 – 75. Pete educates his customers so they could make the right decision on buying furnitures. This helped me a lot because it’s my first time buying real furniture (not the typical Ikea products). I got the dining table delivered and guess what… it’s way too big for my kitchen! I couldn’t even open my fridge! I panicked because I didn’t think I was able to return it, especially when it’s my fault for not measuring. He did not give me a hard time and took back the dining table. I felt so bad that I had to buy something since he was so nice. Got my family a new sectional instead. Got an awesome price for it! I love it!!! I’m so glad I came upon this place. This is a family own business who are very friendly and understanding. Their there to help you find what your looking for and making sure you are happy with your selections. I did not feel pressure at all to get anything or ever felt like they just wanted to make money off me. I’m very happy and grateful to meet such great people. I Highly recommend this place!!!

What a great furniture store! All the major brands are available at Heaven on Earth Furniture. They have a beautiful showroom. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing outstanding customer service. We had seen a sofa we liked at another furniture store with a supposed ‘sale’ price listed. When we compared the other store’s price with what Pete’s price would be at Heaven on Earth, he was able to save us a significant amount of money. He ordered the sofa and was able to get it in quickly for us. We highly recommend this store!

We visited this store this past weekend looking for a sectional sofa. We liked a few but they were out of the price range we were looking for. Today we saw on Craigslist a sales ad for a sectional that we really liked and at a good price. We called the store around 545 pm and asked if that particular sectional was available. Peter said it wasn’t but that we could pre pay for one since another was coming in next week. My boyfriend and I thought about it and called back 10 min after but Peter wasn’t available. We left a message and we’re told we would get a call back. The store closes at 7 pm by 650 pm still no call back so we called and peter answered but said he would call us right back. We are still waiting. I really wanted that sectional but with this customer service heaven on earth has lost a sale!

When there looking for a basic simple sofa to replace my futon that my fiancée hates. Went in just to browse and get a feel and the owner Pete was very friend and not pushy. Lots of closeout deals where right in the price range I was looking to spend. Delivery fee was also very reasonable for the areas they cover. Went back the next day with the lady who feel in love with one of the sofas. I couldn’t be more happy with the service that was provided.
Also have to say living here in Salinas i love helping out family owned business then those corporate guys. So an extra thumbs up for that.
On a side note if you don’t see what you like Pete will find it for you. He even called up one of the makers just see he could get a picture of the couch we were thinking about. A+ in my book.

These guys have great prices! They also stock a lot of closeout and overstocked furniture so you are bound to find a deal. Staff is friendly, but not pushy. The delivery guy (Hector), is very polite. I had a great experience with these guys. Would certainly recommend.
