Trumpet Academy — Salinas is Trumpet Behavioral Health’s signature preschool program dedicated to providing typically developing children with exceptional learning experiences and the skills necessary to achieve their best outcomes.
Trumpet Academy carefully designs each of our age appropriate programs with the goal of promoting curiosity, interest and growth through education.
We’re creating an atmosphere of educational excellence that builds the foundation for future generations.
Services are provided by highly skilled staff and curriculum is structured to provide the best outcomes while enhancing the joys of being a child. Trumpet Academy provides individualized instruction at a ratio of 8:1, exceeding state requirements and guaranteeing personal attention. Through these efforts we support our goal of providing the highest quality services to children in order to maximize their potential as they prepare for kindergarten.
We provide additional support for children with behavioral issues by establishing individualized programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Speech Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy services are conveniently available on-site for children with delays. These services are provided at an additional cost; please inquire for information on pricing.

Lori A.
Manager
Lori began working with school age children for the City of Monterey in 1995 during a Summer Recreation Program and has continued to work throughout the City of Monterey providing community services. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1997 and went on to study at California State University, Chico, where she obtained her B.A. in Child Development in 2001 with a Minor in Psychology. After graduation in 2001 Lori worked as a Master Teacher/Director for a child development center and in 2002 opened her own Preschool/Day Care. In 2004 Lori began working in the Mental Health field as a Day Treatment Counselor and went on to co-develop the RISE program (Reaching Independence through Sustainable Employment), an employment program for adolescence. It was also during this time that Lori worked as a Transitional Housing Program Specialist teaching life skills to adolescents exiting out of Foster Care.
