The cemetery is beautiful, and I have found that the Latin Mass community at this location to be a warm and accepting, widely diverse group of Catholics. Hard to see how someone could see them as lacking in charity — they tithes a percentage of their collection to local charities every month(Loaves and Fishes, etc.) However, you won’t find a cafeteria catholic type of ‘charity’ there — a beautiful Mass, yes, a friendly and welcoming community, yes, a thought provoking and occasionally challenging sermon, yes, all served up with the truths of the Faith, so that the faithful can work and pray their way toward heaven.

The chapel here is the only home to the Tridentine Latin Mass in the region. The congregation is small but very close and devout. They also have a Gregorian schola that performs the most lovely music for the Mass. Each Mass is a Missa Cantata. I am torn in this brief review in that this is also deeply conservative congregation and the pastor is quite reactionary and fundamentalist in his preaching of Catholic dogma. I’ve never understood why such a beautiful rite is connected to the least charitable groups of Catholics. If attending the Mass, it is every Sunday at 1030am. Ladies, please bring your mantillas. There are bilingual(English-Latin and Spanish-Latin) missalettes for those without a pre-1962 Missal.

I’m not a fan of cemetaries but this one is well maintained.
