History

Established in 1993.

This Multi Optometrist Office was designed and built by Dr. Estrada in 1993. This office has provided bilingual eyecare ever since its opening. A few Doctors have come and gone since then, but after almost twenty years Dr. Estrada and Dr. Fewtrell are still here striving to provide the best care and treatments possible for the optometric patients of the Salinas Valley Optometric Group.

Joseph and Dean E.

Business Owner

Joseph Estrada, O.D.

Third generation Salinas Valley. Married, father of four.

Besides taking care of his patient’s visual needs in his free time Dr. Estrada enjoys spending time with family, and bicycle riding. He has also given time to the community serving on the board of Clinica de Salud.

Dean Fewtrell, O.D.

Is a native Californian and has called Salinas home for 30 years. Married 26 years. When not in the office Dr. Fewtrell has been involved in the community, volunteering for many organization over the years, Jaycees, Boys and Girls Club, and the Rodeo. Currently he is a member of the Santa Lucia Rotary Club, and past president of his former club Salinas Northeast Rotary, and is serving on the newly formed Board of Governors for the Sports Car Racing Association of The Monterey Peninsula.
