The Chocolate Dipper

I love Abby. Her and the staff have always been amazing. I stop in just to buy sweets for myself (chocolate dipped strawberry’s), and my son loves everything he’s tried. Keep up the amazing customer service, as well as the delicious sweets!

The service that the Chocolate Dipper provides is incredible! The retailers are knowledgable of their product and chocolate. Very friendly! I’ve continued to return to this store because of the excellent quality and competitive pricing the store offers. I look forward to buying more chocolate in the future for my girlfriend.

Ordered some candy apples for a fundraiser that we had and we were really disappointed. Like the other review, the owner was very nice when taking the order and promised us a time when they would be ready.
The day we picked up the order we were in a rush and since she gave us a promise time we didn’t think it would be a big issue. Got to the store and not only was it not ready, but it looked like she had just prepared them last minute. She was still packaging some of them on the table and even took us to the kitchen area to explain that her regular «dipper guy» was not available to help her. The caramel on the apples were melted to the bottom and did not fully cover the apple. She also took it upon herself to cover the chocolate covered apples with a purple sugar coat on top of it. Seriously, chocolate and more sugar?! Really?! She knew that the color of our fundraising event was purple so she thought it would be a nice touch. It would have been nice if she had ran that by us first. When I pointed out the caramel on the bottom of the apples she decided to give us some of our money back.
Not only are the candy apples pricey, but we did have a hard time selling the apples at our fundraiser because of the quality.
Unless I hear the service and quality has changed, I won’t be back here any time soon. ..

I used to come into this place a lot when it was at its old location. The service was really good and the owner was always so nice. Now that they have moved things have changed! My mom works at a school and did the caramel apple fundraiser they offer. When making the orders and paying the owner was really nice and easy to work with. When it was time for them to be delivered to the school her tone changed. They were a day late which there were parents waiting for them. So they were promised to be there at 9 am the next day again parents waiting for them they didn’t get there till around a 1130. When my mother explain that there were people waiting the reaction was «what do you want me to do about that» so RUDE! This chick is beyond rude! An other time I called them for candy lei’s for Graduation. I was told a certain time you pick them up I came at that time and waited an hour!!! with my two year old in a candy store while they made them most the time the people who work there were just talking! Also last night I check out the new cake shop inside the store. I am a cupcake person so i was curious to try them. THEY SUCK. For 2 bucks a pop not good at all and the box the gave them to me in didn’t close so frosting got all over my car! Nob-​hill has better cupcakes! if you want a good cupcake get a hold for fluff cupcakes. This place just sucks the service is soooooo bad and the food is not great. The owner is the rudest person!!!
