Great service! I called about 30 minutes before they closed and they stayed open just to fix my phone. They are the most reliable shop in Salinas!

Went here one day on my way to Starbucks with my ipod touch and they fixed it within the hour and I was happy with the price… And I was happy with the Service. Plus the guys were really great. I even got a nice protective cover for my ipod in pink and he gave me a good deal on it I would highly recommend this place because they stand behind their work and these guys are licensed technician.

These guys are rock stars!!! Incredible customer service, over the top friendly, and answered all my questions. I have been telling everyone I know in Salinas that this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I brought my daughter’s IPAD mini in on Sunday and was told it would be two business days for her screen to be replaced. It was done in under two days and perfectly. I don’t understand why the ratings here are not all 5 star. They got the job done right and even put a protective plastic cover over the iPad, the same kind a new iPad comes with at the Apple Store. I found the owner and staff to be smart, helpful, and efficient. They get the job done right and I highly recommend them.

Went in for a cracked phone screen and they did a wonderful job! It was done quickly and you can’t even tell it was ever broken.

This place is fabulous! If your out of warranty or used your last one, they are here to help with a small fee. You can choose different screens or even back covers for all you iPhones and iPads. I had both repair within 10mins I was out the door with my new phone and iPad. Great customer services and knowledge staff! Will be referring anyone I know with a cracked screen lol

I had an iPhone 5s that had a cracked screen and a broken top button, that needed to be fixed before I could trade it in for an iPhone 6. I needed it at a specific time, and this store came through quickly. I was able to get the phone I really wanted thanks to their quick customer service.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible customer service. So extremely rude! Not to mention when you walk in the place it reeks of marijuana!

I wish I had checked the Unilocal reviews before walking in today. I went in to have the power button on my iPhone 4 replaced. I was told it would take 30 minutes and cost me $ 50. After 40 minutes of waiting around I decided to go into the store to check on the progress. Upon seeing me walk in the woman yelled across the room at me that the phone was not ready. Her tone was not apologetic, but actually rude and annoyed by my presence.
It was a very good thing I then sat and waiting until my phone was ready because I witnessed the guy who was working on my phone actually break something. Instead of talking to me about my phone, it was then passed around to different employees in the back and whispered about. As if I couldn’t hear that they were talking about how something was broken and they had to try to fix it. They also failed to think that I could see them in the feed of their own security cameras.
After an hour and a half, I was given my phone and told it was all fixed. The guy was not going to tell me about what he had broken or why it had taken so long. I had to ask him in order to get any information and he very hesitantly gave me very little. I was told that I had 30 days to come back if something was not working.
Do not waste your time or money at this place. In my opinion, their service is terrible and all they care about it making a profit.

Went here to get my screen replaced on my samsung galaxy s4. Tech told me they can’t be replaced. Really. This is a replaced screen already. Then he said the parts, if repaired, were faulty, black market, or whatever and he just doesn’t think people repair galaxy phones, they (should) (or do) just buy new ones. Seriously. Yep. Condecending too. Bad mouthed other shops, which was the final turn off. 140.00 charge elsewhere. So much for stopping by.

Went in a few months ago to replace the screen on my iPhone 5, thought the price was a little high, asked if they could fix my home button as it had began to move recently as well…
found the prices to be a little high… total charged was about $ 180 total
I wish they would of told me that Apple would replace the device and give me warranty on a new device for $ 220… probably would of just done that…
well anyways back to the store, service was quick they told me it would be ready in about a hour… upon inspecting it phone looked fine, the home button was however off center almost angled something I’m sure they noticed… wouldn’t of said anything but my wife say it and was like hey fix this… after another 5 minutes they handed me the phone back… everything was fine
the screen was almost too responsive after a while, buttons would push when I was on a call, and after a while I grew very tiresome of the issue…
eventually I just ended up selling the iPhone wish I hadn’t spent the money I had here but other than that I guess its a business, I read higher quality parts aren’t as responsive and work like the real deal iPhone parts so who knows anyways, I would recommend looking around big stores like this gotta cover overhead and their prices reflect that…

I loved this place and will definitely recommend it to friends, family and coworkers. Jacob was very friendly and helpful. My computer was fixed quickly and at a very reasonable price. I’ll go back for sure!

This place is overpriced and do not follow through on promises. While they replaced the screen, they further damaged the area around the sides of the iPad a great deal and then gave me several bad reasons: 1) I brought it in that way. No. I had a very good condition iPad that ad only been dropped 1x on the corner and that broke the screen. I kept it always in a very good case and that kept it in good condition. 2) that Apple doesn’t expect people to repair these products so when you do get it repaired, you should be prepared for it not to look the same??? (Whatever that means) 3) that the case is made of plastic so the reason for the damage is that they must heat it and that caused the case/​back to melt making the jagged edge all down the side. Wrong. I researched it — the backing is made of aluminum and therefore the additional knocks down the side are a result of them indelicately prying off the screen. Also, I took it to their Monterey location and they told me I could come back the following day around the same time (noon) I had dropped it off to retrieve. However around 11am they phoned me the next day to try to get me to install a white screen instead of a black (original color) because they did not have a black screen in stock. I agreed to wait for pick up until 6pm so that they could get a screen in the appropriate color from the Salinas store but I still had to pay an extra fee for next day service. Check around, much better places with lower costs and definitely better service than this!

I first started using uBreak iPhix a couple of years ago because I knew the owner through a mutual friend. They are competent enough, but their customer service is lacking. While going in for an iPhone screen repair the technician laughed at me in a condescending way when I told him I wasn’t proficient in the technical jargon he was explaining. He rolled his eyes at me and brushed me off as if I was bothering him because I didn’t know what he was talking about. Don’t get me wrong, the repair went great, the phone works great, my only complaint is how arrogant the technician seemed to be. As of now I’m using a different repair shop, they are friendly and explain things in a way that a layman (like myself) can understand. Plus they’re cheaper too.

Terrible service… The owner claims to be «The best» but when my iPhone 4 started having problems from the screen repair he tried to say it was not related to his work. I then went down to Monterey and had it repaired there for less than what I was charged here. The other shop also mentioned there were screws missing and no adhesive under the glass… It seems like they are just in it for the money and do not care about customers. Go elsewhere! They are less expensive and more experienced and friendly. I do not recommend this company.

A little late on giving my review. Last year I dropped my iphone into my vodka and gatorade. I really thought my phone was a loss, until I heard about this little shop. WOW my phone was repaired and all the pictures I had taken the night of the mishap all there. My iphone 4 a year later, still works as if nothing ever happened to it. It you need an honest repair for your iphone this is the place.

This place provides excellent services. I took my phone in to be repaired and I thought it was beyond repair. They fixed it up and allowed for me to go into the Apple store and get a brand new phone. They are very quick with their service and had me up and running by the next morning. They do all types of repairs so if you have a problem with an electronic take it in and see what they say. Most likely they will be able to fix your problem.
