I went for a quote for rust removal on my car and he said that just for a pop rivit fix and a good paint job would cost 5000 dollars. That is totally unreasonable hiding how my car only needed about 3 square feet of sheet metal. No sir sorry

I brought my car to Chris twice after 2 different accidents. The body work was done well. He addressed my concerns. Got the job done at the allotted cost and I didn’t have to fight with the insurance company over cost.
What I did not like was being treated like a «little lady». He actually had the nerve to ask me if I was always this «nervous». He asked because I was questioning the quality of refurbished rims. What he thought was nervousness was an attempt at fact finding.
I have aluminum rims on my car have heard about issues like constant slow leaks. The insurance company would not cover original rims and I was told by the adjuster that you couldn’t even get new rims (?!?). So I was just trying to get info from Chris to determine whether new rims were possible and whether I wanted to pay the extra.
The only reason I didn’t give a 2 star review is because it would have been a 4 if I he had just answered the question with no little comments. Haven’t decided if I’d use him again but also haven’t had a need either.
