I’ve given this location a couple of tries. Wasn’t particularly impressed either visit. The staff are friendly enough but the first time I went the lady whom was cutting my hair (High and tight no guard on the sides and back with a inch to inch and a half on top) she had to ask another lady to finish because she didn’t know how to cut it. She could’ve been new but it still worried me a bit. So I decided to try again with another stylist, the hair cut wasn’t bad but I think all the other MVP stuff is just a way to get more money for not a lot really. Won’t be going back.

I tried to bring my 2 year old son here to get his haircut. This was not his first haircut — he’s had several at the Sports Clips in Concord and the staff at the Concord location have been fantastic. We just happened to be in Salisbury so we thought we’d go to this new Salisbury location. This was a polar opposite experience than the great experiences we’ve had in Concord. The stylist absolutely refused to even try to cut my son’s hair unless he would sit completely still. Good luck getting most kids to sit still during an entire haircut. The stylist had a poor attitude and was very negative in how she was talking to us during our very short visit. No positive encouragement towards my son, no kind words, nothing. I took my son and we left with no haircut. I’m glad I didn’t give them my business. We have since taken him back to the Concord location for yet another great experience. My husband also goes to the Concord location (near Target — Afton Ridge) and he always has a great haircut and wonderful customer service. I hope it was just the stylist having a crappy day, but if I acted like that at my job I wouldn’t have a job, no matter how challenging the clientele.
