They carry brands that you can’t easily find in SLC and the selection is well curated. I agree with a fellow reviewer that it would be great to just see more clothing on the racks, especially since it is such a large space. The only complaint I have is about their marketing. I lived in SLC for a year before I knew about this store. Two things: I frequently visit 9 and 9 and I am exactly the target market for this store. Why did it take me a year to find out it existed??? Just wondering if they are advertising at a level that is consistent with their business.

This is how shopping should be! Apartment 202 is a relaxing and beautiful store with a well organized and curated selection of trendy and well made clothes. There is a range in pricing from moderate to high end and a surprisingly moderately priced section of stylish jewelry. I was lucky enough to pop in when the owner Ashley was working and she was amazing! She had a quick understanding of my style and what would look good on me and had lots of suggestions. She gave honest feedback and had lots of suggestions on how to wear, what to accessorize with, etc. I ended up with a pair of palazzo pants that I would have never tried on but that looked amazing on me! It was like having the world’s best personal shopper. She was low pressure and made trying on clothes a lot of fun. While she didn’t have the cut of denim I was after, she was sweet enough to give me some recommendations of styles and sizes to order online. She even followed up with a thank you e-mail. This is the kind of service and care that is so rare these days! I will definitely be back!

This is my go-to for any«occasion» dress/outfit. I found my rehearsal dinner dress, staple Vince Camuto flats and black-tie destination wedding«jumper» there. Ashley and the girls have impeccable taste. Most of the items are pricier… but that’s more by SLC standards than anything. I’m loving this gem in the 9th and 9th neighborhood!

Pro’s You can always find something beautiful with a good cut. Clean, chic atmosphere… a coldler, glamerous Anthropology. I meet one of the new staff, and she knew me by name the next time I came in. She actually assessed my style and made relevent suggustions. .. when does that happen? Also, last night I dropped by 30min after close with a friend who had never been, and she sweetly unlocked the door and graciously let me give him a mini-tour. Seriously 100% the best customer service I’ve experenced in retail in SLC. Con’s I wish they had more clothes on the floor. After all, I’m here to shop not just to admire the décor.

If you are on 9th and 9th you must stop in Apt 202! Aside from Ashley’s great taste and discerning eye for apparel, her dog is adorable and quite a fixture in the store. Colorful, tasteful and make sure to check out Cahoots coffee shop at the end of the street. A must for a lazy afternoon!

My new favorite shop. Now, I just need to win the lottery… or happen upon a bucket of cash. I’ve driven by this shop many a time but never stopped to go in. Saturday was so lovely, I decided to stop being so lazy and stop. I guess I should’ve thought more protectively of my wallet. Apt. 202 carries labels both well known and not. Well tailored and beautiful sophisticated clothing. I like to think of it as crisp with a bit of personality. It’s not freakishly expensive but pricey enough that you’ll want to love something before you buy it. The difficult bit with that is — you’ll love most of what’s in the store. Auf Wiedersehen mein cash. At least I’ll look splendid while rummaging in the dumpsters.
