History

Established in 2013.

Ms. Clark was drawn to the field of education by her desire to help children succeed. She taught in private, public, and charter school settings and tutored children of all ages over the years prior to opening Clark Learning Center. Owning and operating her own tutoring center has given her the opportunity to share her experience, education, and love of learning with children of diverse backgrounds, needs, and ages.

Business Owner

Kim Clark, M.Ed., has dedicated her life to helping children reach their highest potential for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (child development emphasis) from the University of California, Berkeley in 1997, her Early Childhood Teaching Certification from Westminster College in 2001, and her Master of Education (educational technology emphasis) from Westminster College in 2002.

Ms. Clark’s experience includes over 15 years of classroom teaching as well as tutoring children of all ages. Her broad and varied studies include special education, behavioral studies, childhood development, gifted and talented instruction, diversity, educational technology, and best-​practice teaching methodologies. She also regularly attends professional conferences, continuing education classes, and enjoys reading current research on how to best support students with ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome/​Autism, developmental delay, dyslexia, and other challenges.
