A Light Oasis in Salt Lake! Loved this place… windows abound here, cozy couches and chairs… tables for working if you’d like. Oh and the owner and staff… Very attentive! You’re greeted with warm smiles, suggestions on the menu… I’m trying their variety of teas… oh and the breakfast burrito… Heaven! You can add bacon or Avocado (or both)…I added both :). Can’t wait to try the other items… heard the homemade mushroom soup is beyond delicious. I definitely recommend!

This is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and lunch (or breakfast for that matter). They make their own menu items from scratch and the coffee they serve most of the time is an incredibly delicious roast which they obtain locally from La Barba (formerly known as Charming Beard). It is a Guatemalan bean which has chocolate tones and is the best Guatemalan roast I’ve ever tried! I actually crave this coffee! They give you a choice of a «to go» cup, one their ceramic mugs, or bring in your own cup. The food they prepare is very good also! I tried the french toast most recently, and it is by far the best I have ever eaten (sorry Mom, it’s true). I’ve had several other menu items, mostly lunch items and have been very pleased. They have a great selection of cookies and other bakery items, all baked in house. The owners take a personal interest and one or another of them is always there. They are very friendly and provide exceptional service, great food and a comfortable environment. There are plenty of outlets available, which I frequently use with my laptop, even a fancy chess board for those who have more loftier talents than I do. All in all, this is a great place to go and I find myself doing just that frequently! One other thing I love are the prints on the wall! Beautiful photos from Africa.

Ditta rocks! This is not my first review, but the experience has continued to be consistent. If you haven’t tried the soup, please do! The soup is made in house daily and is my standard go-​to. The café is a great place to get some work done, meet your friends or read a book by yourself. The staff is top notch and will give you all the attention you need!

Got a tuna melt that was dripping all over the plate. They didn’t even drain it, I could have made a better one at home. Overall was disappointed with the coffee and food. The staff was friendly, but it doesn’t make up for much. Ended up throwing most of the food/​drinks out. Maybe I went on an off day, but I’m not inclined to waste my money again. :/

:) I loved that they did latte art. I myself am a barista, and can’t do latte art for the life of me so I love seeing it.
I also really love the huge patio area out back, it was a fun «fairy land» for my 3 year old to explore while I drank my coffee.

This place has a great feeling. There are couches, traditional tables (large and small), elevated tables, and seating in the green house. Also there’s a green house. My latte and sandwich were great and the muffin was only okay. The location is convenient, with parking on both sides and a drive thru.

This place rocks! I stopped in to work for a few hours after dropping my daughter off at her preschool. It’s a great find.
I was greeted warmly and it feels very homey. The menu is ample for lunch. I ordered the spinach salad which is divine. Seriously.divine. Warm crisp bacon, delicious balsamic, fresh, crips spinach and great presentation. I also ordered the pepper, bacon & cheddar quiche. The quiche was perfectly prepared and so flavorful. Delicious.
Now…the the coffee. Admittedly, I’m a coffee snob. I’m the gal that orders who organic coffee shipped in directly from Kona. Not a big fan of Starbucks and my favorite place in SLC so far has been Raw Bean. Ditta is the best I’ve had in the Utah Valley… hands down, spectacular.
They are also accommodating. I heard another patron ask if they could custom make a soup/​sandwich combo and they said «YES!». Finally, a place with staff that can think on their own and doesn’t give the response «Sorry…not on the menu.» They also enthusiastically recommended some other items to another fellow patron. Nothing like smiling, happy and enthusiastic staff to make a place top notch.
Add to that the great vibe, free wi-​fi, convenient location, super friendly staff… I’ll be a regular! This may be my daily go-​to-​spot for great coffee and delicious food.

Stopped by this café looking for bagel sandwich. Everthing is made fresh and yummy! Bagel was crispy and chewey. Luv!

Anyone in the East Millcreek area? This is a go to place. Fresh baked goods, also have charming coffee and refreshing tea.

I love this place! From their food to their coffee to their service — everything is amazing. I come here some afternoons to work and it’s always pretty quiet. I’m so glad I discovered this little gem.

Everything was wonderful, from the time we got here, to the time we left. We were greeted immediately with positive response as soon as we walked in. I ordered an iced chai tea latte, it was wonderful! I will be coming back very soon.

We walked here on a blistering hot day in Salt Lake City. It was only a few blocks, but it was, like, 105 degrees. So when we walked in, and discovered that the air conditioning above our table wasn’t working, I was kind of disappointed, to say the least. But enough about the heat.
Most of my party ordered the vegetable soup as an appetizer, which had hints of spiciness, making it more interesting. I had a tuna melt (without cream cheese) and it was really great! At first I didn’t know why it tasted like wasabi, and then I looked at the menu and realized it had SPICY mustard. After I got over the fact that the spiciness was supposed to be there, and wasn’t just some leftover wasabi on their knife, I really liked the sandwich! The pasta salad, on the other hand, wasn’t that good. The gouda didn’t go well with the mayo or whatever was holding that thing together. Oh well. For dessert: Nutella cupcake. Tasted like normal chocolate cupcake (I’m not REALLY complaining) except for the occasional burst of Nutella ribbons, which I doubt were actually supposed to be there.
Great café! Really friendly service and good food! (Oh BTW, they have a huge selection of Italian soda. From peach to toasted marshmallow, they have it all.)

First time here, but I feel like it’s going to be a keeper in my books! Good morning environment that I have experience would be great for a early lunch gathering or sit down and study.

I’ve been here a couple of times and everything has been good that I’ve tried: coffee, veggie sandwich, and their quiche. I like that there are healthy options here. Parking is no fun, but other than that, friendly staff and yummy food.

We have had a couple of family events at Ditta Café, and very recently held a wedding shower there for about 35 people. Ditta staff gave wonderful service at this event and just could not have been more accommodating or willing to do anything possible to make the menu exactly what we wanted. The presentation was lovely, food was outstanding and the café was fun to decorate and looked beautiful. This is a great location for wedding and baby showers or other family events. Thank you Amy and Katie!

Used to love this location when it was Divas. It does not follow up on that good reputation. Slow service, not much variety. The soup was watery. I might try it again but the parking is a hassle.

First time visiting. I had their fabulous quiche. Just right!
It’s a great space and the patio area is big and shady. It’ll be equally good for a fairly large event or a quiet afternoon snack.
I’ll be back.

The most important part of this review is me telling you, should you decide to go there, to park on the West side of the building, against the greenhouse looking thing, which is part of the building. Forget the East side entirely, unless you need wheelchair-​marked access and even then, may want to double-​think it.
This is another place that seems like it isn’t quite sure of its identity, though given how new it is, I think they will probably gel into this. It is sort of a bakery, though with not a ton of selections and sort of a coffee shop, though with a very light offering comparatively. It also has some sandwiches and 4 or 5 breakfast items, which are of the sandwich/​burrito type.
The décor is kind of neat, with quite a lot of framed art for sale. It’s well laid out and very clean though the place seems to have an inordinate fondness for checkers. Service is friendly, not exactly fast. Still, if you camp out along the North side facing 3300 S., it’s a pretty cool place to hang out.
As place develops, I expect it to get better. The turkey bacon sandwich, as listed on the board, would have been a good start. Bacon is good and hot mustard would have worked perfectly with the green leaf lettuce and rye. What I got was not what was listed and glopping mayo onto somewhat stale bread with a decent cut, though bland, few slices of turkey simply means it needs refinement. The sandwich was a bit small for $ 7. The grilled cheese my son got was quite a lot better and more on the level of everything that should be coming out of that kitchen. Had they used that bread and that method on the turkey bacon sandwich, it would have upgraded the sandwich substantially.
My wife had the soup, which she found to be likely homemade, but very under-​seasoned. Again, this is likely to improve over time. We had Asiago bagels, which I’d hesitate to call «true» bagels as they were more reminiscent of the offerings of say, Smith’s bakery (this is not a knock, by the way), but again, they were a bit on the small side for the money. Tea and coffee were decent and while the drinks were in paper cups, everything else was served on real ceramic plates and bowls.
Whatever this place is – the website lists it as a deli (really stretching there), bakery and coffee shop, but not as a café, though it is so named, but I’d not call it that, either — it is still in the early stages and seems to have at least a decent start towards one of those things. Maybe they’re waiting to see which one develops to be more popular and plan to focus more on that, maybe they’re just testing the waters, but it’s the kind of place I’m rooting for. It has quite a lot of potential (especially if you really like checkers) and most of the kinks I mentioned should be ironed out along the line.
