Express Shuttle

A very nice driver picked me up from my home and took me to the Salt Lake City Airport. No problem there. When I came back and went to the desk to catch my ride back to Ogden a very happy rep at the desk smiled and said I just missed the shuttle. The next one will be here in an HOUR. Wish I’d known this before I prepaid for the shuttle. Not sure If they just have a couple of vans or what the deal is but an HOUR? I think I’ll take the train in next time.

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! WORST EXPERIENCE! One of their agents has problems with foreigners/​accents!!! I just spoke to Lenny or whatever her name is– she dropped the phone as soon as she heard my accent!!! When I called back, she was very rude and disrespectful, talking to me in a bad tone, interrupting me and all, and then… attention…she said: ‘you don’t need to be rude’. What!!! Why would I be rude??? you were the first not happy with my accent!!! Then she said: «I will transfer you to another agent, cuz you are so rude», I said:” sure”, and then she blocked me, so I wasn’t able to call the company back at all. Terrible, terrible experience!!! Speaking about rude — I didn’t say a single mean word to her, I was answering her questions with no huffing and puffing, or comment:) will let my friends know about this incident.

Very convenient. The counter was right in front of baggage claim. Check in and have a seat but don’t stray too far because they will call out your name when it is time (I waited 10 min). The only complaint I have about it was that the person calling out names was doing so in such an alarming state that it startled everyone. Think, «I lost my child at a park and I am frantically calling out their name». Just an anecdote aha
I also booked a return flight (I wish they gave a discount for round trips…) and the window was 2:30−300pm I was back from my interview by 1:00pm so I was waiting for them inside the lobby. Around 2:15 the driver came in and asked if I was waiting for a shuttle. It was nice that they came inside to retrieve me and help me with my luggage. However please note that they were earlier than their window time so I don’t know how long he would have waited for me if I wasn’t already there. I’m not docking any points off that though bc it worked better for me bc I was just waiting around.
Overall, cheaper than über, counter at the airport made it less stressful about being on time about leaving, and easy online booking. I highly recommend. ($ 34 to Provo from SLC airport)

All right, I’m upgrading to 5 stars. I flew into SLC for meetings in Park City, UT. My driver (so sorry, can’t remember his name — but it was Sunday Nov 22^nd around 2:30 pm — dropped me off at Hotel Park City, please give him my sincere thank you!) was so friendly and kind. He and I talked the whole way to Park City. He was genuinely nice. I really enjoyed having someone to talk to while traveling away from my family.
My driver for the return trip was late, again, which I know, it’s inside the «window» and I planned for it this time. He was nice and helpful, though, and I had already padded my timing, based on my last trip. Still, it’s a great service for a good price.

A great operation. Clean vehicle, on time both ways, safe driver, reasonable price.

They arrived at 5:45am to take us to the airport (25 minute drive). We needed to be there by 6:30am. He then proceeded to hunt for the location of his next pickup, then told me he had 2 more pickups, and couldn’t guarantee I would be there until 6:45. Bottom line — I had to drive myself. Super shuttle is now in town. I would give them a try.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. PERIOD. The driver assigned to shuttle my three teenagers from the Airport to Weber State and then back was a disaster. They were late. The driver was pulled over by the police for speeding. The driver did not speak English fluently. The driver stopped to use the bathroom in spite of the fact that he was late. Then the customer service was atrocious. This company is bad news.

I’ve used their service before without any issues. However, I just tried to make a reservation for a future trip. On the website, it clearly states that nothing will be charged until the pick up date (which, mine happens to be a year from now). My bank account was charged less than 15 minutes later, and my receipt states that it was prepaid.
I waited 15 minutes on hold for an agent, who told me that it was just a preauthorized charge, which would fall off on the day of pick up… which makes no sense. I called back (after another 15 minute hold), to cancel. We’ll see if the charges fall off.
Nothing like false advertisement. I think I’ll pay double for another company that knows how to treat customers.

I needed to get from the Salt Lake City Airport to Linden. Not even knowing where Linden was (not being from the area), but knowing that no public transportation could get me there after 11pm, i had few options. They were helpful, friendly and courteous. But, most importantly, they got me where I needed to be on time.

You guys are so worthless it’s not even funny, you’re 45 mins late and counting to pick me up from my flight and I’m on the verge of missing my flight. I will make sure my company never uses you guys again, totally unacceptable

A great service! Picks you up right at home and takes you to the airport. A great price! Friendly and prompt drivers. If it wasn’t for squeezing 6 people into the van, I would give it 5 stars.

If I could give negative stars I would definately did. So rude. The employee was absolutely rude and unprofessional. I’m Asian and was waiting to be picked up by my boyfriend. She was about 40 feet far from me and crooking an index finger at me to come. I was trying to making sure if she was calling me she was still gesturing at me to come. I didn’t know what was going on but anyways she was looking and calling me. I was going to ask her what’s going on but she already went outside. When I also went outside, there was another Asian girl and the employee was confused me with her cuz I’m Asian. She told me «SORRY» very rudly. She didn’t seem sorry at all. She had not even come to me to check my name and also didn’t tell me the reason why I was called. I was very upset, so went to her desk saying she could have been careful doing her work and she was so rude not seemed sorry at all! And she started lying to me, saying she asked the name and I said yes. OMG. Do you think I would not know my name? We had not even have any conversation when she was calling me and she didn’t even come to me at all. What made it worse is, she was saying there’s an audio record mic and she can call a security. REALLY? You should check CCTV! It would tell the truth and how bad job you did. I have not had any bad experience in the airport but this, that happened today. Terrible.

I just got a comment from the business after they have read my review. What I can say is It’s embarrassing. They just stand for themselves. If they think it’s ‘unfair’ to leave a review that is based on a true experience, which I was involved with their business, I want to ask them what or who caused this first that I can say it was pretty unprofessional. This country gives the right to freedom of speech and our opinion. I did not use their shuttle service, but I had to meet in the situation that I didn’t need to and wouldn’t ever want to be, from one of the employees. Plus, ‘I did NOT follow her back but just went to her desk after she had left the van at outside after the rude ‘SOOORRY’. I wanted to complain/​talk about it to her because she didn’t even ask a basic question asking a name to verify their customer and what really made it worse was her attitude. If my complain was interpreted as threatening? I have nothing to say seriously. Then should I say I got threatened by her saying that she would call a security from the complain? The customer she confused with me was Asian girl and other than that, there was nothing in common between her and me. I’m just curious how she called me out without having any information of me unless they just randomly do. When the employee realized she messed it up, she just looked at me and I looked at her too. And just simply said «SORRYY, pause, and «SOOOORY». I literally felt so bad. What I wish is they don’t bother people who are not their customers, it would be so great if they verified their customer asking a name at least, so I could just say I’m not the person and that would be just all.

How honest was she for the mistake? I don’t know about that. At that time, She lied, insisting that she had asked my name, which is NOT true. How funny NOW they accept the fact that she didn’t come to me to ask my name, (didn’t she realize it at that time?) And now they are saying like, how much someone needs to be sorry for an «honest mistake». If the honest is to agree a fact, I think it must be expected.

Used express shuttle from Park City to the airport, and for the return trip a few weeks later. Booking was simple online, and the van showed up at the start of the pick-​up window. I was the only one in the shuttle, so I effectively got a private ride. Also ended up with being the only passenger on the way back to PC. I only waited about 10 minutes once I checked in at the airport desk for the shuttle to depart.
Shuttles are well-​marked with the company logo, and drivers wear a uniform as well. Both drivers drove safely and were professional.

I used Express Shuttle for the first time on my trip to see family in Orem/​Provo area. The service was excellent. I waited about five minutes at the airport counter for the drive out. My driver was courteous and drove safely. I had a 5:30am pickup to go back to the airport at the end of the visit. The second driver was prompt, helpful, and efficiently picked up other riders. All in all, a great experience for a reasonable price. Planning to use Express Shuttle again without hesitation!

while i think there is more to say about restaurants, and for shuttle companies it’s really about — did they show up, did they get you there on time, did they drive safe, were they right priced.
so — my first time to sundance we used express shuttle from the airport to park city, and then, back to the airport a few days later.
it was cheaper than other services.
the cars/​vans were clean.
the drivers courteous, safe. although the guy driving back to the airport was driving a bit fast, most people wouldn’t object, especially as it was early morning and there was no traffic.
we got to the airport and our hotel in a very timely manner.
so — i’m a fan! will use when i come back to sundance.

Reading the previous reviews I was skeptical using this service, but traveling on my own the price had me ($ 35 each way vs ~90 each way). For me there wasn’t a long wait time at the airport (maybe 15 mins) and there was only one other person to share the shuttle with. Additionally, I left an item in the shuttle and the driver was able to go out of his way to return it to me.
If you’re traveling alone, or are on a budget, this is the service for you.

If I could give negative stars I would. I had a flight to catch at 730am and requested my shuttle for 530. Guess what time they rolled up. 610. This is after they called and discovered they were at the wrong apartment complex. What is the point of making a reservation? I normally wouldn’t have been so panicked but this is the wknd before Xmas when airports are extra cray. Regardless, when you pay a service to show up at a certain time and they are 45 mins late, not cool.

I’ve used Xpress Shuttle a lot and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive (knock on wood). They arrive on time, help with the luggage, drive carefully (if sometimes a bit too slow for my taste) and write receipts upon request.
Sometimes it takes a while to get on board on the SLC side — waiting for the driver, customers etc.
What I appreciate most, however, is that when I arrive with a delayed flight and/​or after a canceled flight, the company still honors the reservation. This has been the crucial aspect of my satisfaction with ES and kept me a faithful customer.

I’ve never feared for my life more than in this shuttle. The driver never went below 15mph over the speed limit. Going 90mph on a 65mph road down a steep curvy mountain pass is not what I would call safe.
The driver on the way up to park city was great.

Express charges just $ 8 plus tip for the 8 minute ride to downtown Salt Lake City. So a shared ride saves you 12 bucks over what a cab charges, but it will cost you a little extra *cough* quality time *cough* at the airport.
My hotel offered no shuttle and recommended this shuttle service instead. I waited almost exactly the advertised maximum wait time of 20 minutes on a Wednesday evening, from walk-​up check-​in at the counter about 9pm to climbing into a blue and yellow minivan headed downtown with three other people about 9:20pm. Staff was very friendly, both counter and driver.
Is it Express or Xpress? There’s a bit of name confusion here. Unilocal uses «Xpress». The big sign over their desk at the airport says «Express.» The van has a funny stylized E which if you’re like me you will not recognize :) and read it as Xpress.
Ouch, this company has a lotta bad reviews, go look at the filtered ones if you wanna see reports from some seriously angry people! I didn’t check Unilocal until after my ride so either I got lucky or things are vastly improved in 2013.
