Called at 9:30 to have a building re-​keyed and it was completely finished by 10:50! Marcelo was polite, professional and quick. I’ll be using Glen’s key lock for all of my keying needs. Thanks guys!

My sister broke a key off in our ignition AND the drivers side door! Glen’s got both of them out for cheap, and it took about 10 minutes. As a girl, it’s hard to find car places that won’t jerk you around and scam you, and Glens is a gem. Nothing but praise for y’all! I will definitely be coming back here.

Quick, friendly service. They go out of their way to help the customer. Would happily go back again to have more keys duplicated here. Can’t speak to any other services they offer.

I needed to get some locks re-​keyed and Roger did a great job determining what I needed to make the job simple. A part was required and they were able to get the part and complete the job the same day. It was so easy and reasonably priced. Thank you!

I have used Glen’s a couple of times in the past, and both times have been impressed with the customer service from every person I have had help me. Both times I have called I have been helped the same day. My call was answered by a lady named Ann, who was helpful and understanding of my situation and timeline. I needed my work done the day of, and a appointment was scheduled within two hours of my call. Ann told me upfront about the fees I would be paying by having a tech come out and an approximate price for the job I needed done.
Our tech, Kirk was on time, knowledgeable and friendly. The job was done quicker than I thought and was completed. (No mess left, cleaned up after himself) Kirk also advised me on security issues I might face, and gave me options on how to fix it. Glen’s is a great locksmith option for SLC.

I thought I had messed up my car’s ignition lock pretty badly, but I brought it in to Glens and they had it working again in about two seconds. Turned out it was a really simple thing, and he showed me what he did in case it happens again. These guys are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

This place has almost as many 5 star reviews as I’ve written (at least at the time of this writing: 17, now 18 out of 357 reviews) and with good reason. While people seldom think of keys until they need them, this place seems to think of them all the time as they are fast, efficient, knowledgeable and do the job right the first time. They were very upfront about pricing (quite competitive) and quite affable and I probably there wasn’t more than maybe 7 minutes while they did a duplicate key for my car up on the spot. They also have a ton of safes available, from the gigantic ones on down to the ones masquerading as other objects.
In short, I can’t think of any way to improve this place or this service and based on my interaction, they get the 5 stars walking away. Extremely impressive!

Why would anybody go anyplace else to get keys made or locks changed? You can tell by the huge key sign in front what these guys are all about. Locksmithing at its best. Professional and reasonable. That’s what you need in a locksmith… and they deliver.
I had three keys made yesterday. I had forgotten my wallet in the car. By the time I returned my keys were made and on a new ring. Glen’s is my lock and key place from now on.

I have NEVER had a positive locksmith experience in Salt Lake so when I lost my car keys on a work morning I was doing everything to avoid having to call one. When I finally decided it was necessary, I jumped on Unilocal and Glen’s key had great reviews so I decided to take a chance. The person on the phone was courteous and helpful. The locksmith arrived exactly when they said he would, about fifteen minutes after I called. He got my car open in two seconds then cheerfully obliged when I asked him to cut me a key since I hadn’t found them inside the car where I thought they might be. He did so in a reasonable amount of time but the key wasn’t quite working in the ignition. So he literally pulled the ignition apart to find there was a dropped pin and FIXED A PROBLEM I’VE BEEN DEALING WITH FOR MONTHS then cut me a second key. All this for a really reasonable price. Worst morning ever tempered by the best locksmith experience ever. They have me for life.

They have been around serving Slc since the dinosaurs where around. Quality that can be trusted. They can handle it in a secure fashion. The real pros in the lock business.

Bought a new car that only had one key. Went in and was helped right away. Made me a key and the took it out to the car to test it. Not only did it work, but they got me a key-​less entry too! If i ever need another key for anything I will be returning.

Go to Glen’s if you want a key made correctly. They’re not expensive. They’re local. They’re excellent at what they do. You can trust them.
If you want to wait forever for a meth head to copy your key (and for it to be the kind of key you have to jiggle to make work) then go to Lowes.

Total chance that I wound up @ Glens needing a copy of a few keys. The gentleman working the desk had them done in under 30 seconds. I was blown away. More over the rest of The staff had all seemed to enjoy working there, which is always important for great customer service. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for any key copies ever again!

THANK GOD FOR GLEN’S KEYS. After our daughter locked herself out of her running car this morning, in the snow, she called her father. He initially went to Rude-​ies Keys (sarcasm intentional, please see my other review) and was treated poorly he then found Glen’s Keys on his phone. After a quick explanation, Larry from Glen’s came out IMMEDIATELY. When Larry arrived, he was wearing a big smile and bada boom, the car was open. Poof! Daughter was on her way to work, husband was much happier than he had been in the Rudy’s Keys parking lot some time before and I got to roll over and go back to sleep. I promised the spouse I would find a way to post reviews of his experiences this morning as payment for staying in bed. Thank you Glen’s Keys.

HIGHLY recommend using Glens Key, Lock & Safe. I called them this afternoon, and one of their technicians (Lyn — who was delightful) was out within an hour. Work was done efficiently and reasonably.

Awesome guys who are very helpful. Went in to get some keys made and had some questions about locks. They were very quick with the keys and kind enough to spend a few minutes helping me with a few questions I had.

When I got locked out of my house (because I am a moron) I called a lock smith. After 2 hours of them not showing up for their 15 minute dispatch window I called Glen’s. They were there in 10 minutes. came in, popped the lock,
Great service, made my life easier and I was able to get to work on time. Made the 60.00 I spent on the process totally worth it.

I recently entered a new stage of life, homeownership. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. My first dilemma was getting duplicate keys made for my front door. I thought this would be a simple process, I WAS SO WRONG. I went to Lowes, Home Depot, Smiths and Walmart and none of these places could match my key. Apparently my front door has a mystery lock. Lowes suggested Glens.
I was ready to cry and put the house back on the market; I know it is a little dramatic, but it had been a rough day. The staff at Glens were very helpful. It took them about 10 minutes to determine the correct key, but in the end they solved my key dilemma.
Glens has a customer for life. The service was outstanding, and the rates were very competitive especially for such a mysterious lock/​key. I will be using them for all future locksmith needs, and apparently I will have to since they are the only ones who can make duplicates of my keys.

I have only used Glens once but it was great and I have friends who have similar experiences.
I had just bought a very old house in Sugarhouse and after about a day the lock stopped working and we were locked out of our house. I called Glens at about 9 AM on a Saturday and they were there within 15 minutes. Over the next hour, the locksmith re-​keyed the house, repaired an antique lock, and gave me maintenance tips on the antique lock.
I thought the price was fair and the service was out of this world.
