Lina’s Dart Shop

Even if you don’t like darts or have never played, go here. This is exactly the kind of shop you’re looking for, you just don’t know it yet. If it’s customer service you’re looking for, you’ve got it. If it’s supporting local businesses, I encourage you to do so. If you’ve always been ‘bad’ at darts, believe me, you’ve just been using the wrong darts for your throw… And if you ALREADY like darts, well… you are definitely in for a treat!
I ran across this store back in 2007 (2008 at the latest) when making the semi annual trip with my family to Kirkham’s Outdoor Supply across the street (also a great local business). I was right in the heat of being swept up in to the love of the game at local venues after work, and I was surprised and thrilled to find a shop solely dedicated to darts (if there are any up there, I have yet to find them). I was impressed by the selection of flights, darts, and boards and … well, EVERYTHING! The prices are wonderful, the quality of everything is impeccable as Lina really, REALLY knows EVERYTHING about darts and is very choosy about the items she orders. The very first time I ever went in, she watched me throw because I told her that I throw … differently… (imagine how those cherubs look on gaudy marble fountains with one leg up in the air and the opposite arm pointing up with the hand down…), but I remember that she never laughed at my awkward stance, and in fact, recommended an incredible set of darts which made my already pretty serious game a force to be reckoned withi upon my return home.
The next time I returned (an entire year later), she not only remembered my name, but remembered EVERYTHING I had talked about including the backstories of my dart friends, my own story, etc, and even knew I had cut my hair!!! EVERY time I go to Utah now (about three times a year), I make a point of reserving at least one, if not more than one, afternoon to see her, visit the shop, test out the newest dart innovations, stock up on flights that make all my friends jealous, swap some stories and hugs, and play some darts!
I have bought multiple dart sets, SO many pretty, funny, and improved-​game worthy flights, and once I even hauled a dartboard back with me on the plane (best dart board on which I have ever played, by the way). Even if you don’t like darts, I still suggest visiting. The flights alone are a sight to see!
In my opinion, this is the best local shop in Salt Lake — incredible selection; amazing customer service; locally owned by one of the kindest, truest, and most sincere human beings I have had the honor to meet.
I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUPPORT THIS WONDERFUL LOCAL BUSINESS. I only wish Lina and her shop were nearer to Seattle, but it’s definitely worth my travel time to shop here.

I stopped by here to get some steel tips for my old darts and I met Lina. Holy crap there are still people in this world who are nice and give great customer service. She was so sweet I think I got a cavity. Usually when I am that nice I am drunk (I really do love all of you it’s not just the booze talking). Her prices are great and she even wrote a little thank you note on the receipt, I not kidding she took the time to thank me for my purchase AND she wrote a thank you note. Go down buy some darts tell her I said hi then come and play darts with me (I will tell you I love you and really mean it).

Lina know here stuff! if you want really high quality dart equipment, this is the place. Best dart selection by far in UT. Plus, Lina is one of the nicest sales person I have ever meet.

Lina’s is the best source for darts, dartboards, and all dart related supplies in Utah. Unlike online stores you can test throw the variety of darts she has in stock so you can find the perfect match for you. You might save a buck or two buying somewhere else but you won’t get the selection or assistance you get from Lina.
