Specialties
A favorite of visitors and Salt Lake City locals alike, Local Colors of Utah Art Gallery represents fine art works in pottery, photography, jewelry, painting, sculpture, fibre, collage and glass.
Local Colors was founded in 2002 by a handful of passionate Utah artists with the purpose of developing a cooperative space where artists can display their expressive and unique perspectives of fine art creation. Since then, the gallery has grown to exhibit up to thirty local artists and has won awards for its eclectic style, friendly service, and diversity of art on display.
Being a co-op, there is an essence of community that is unlike other galleries. Visit Local Colors and you will be greeted warmly by one of our working artists who can help you choose a fine art to enhance your home, place of business, or assist in a gift purchase.
History
Established in 2002.
Local Colors first was located in Salt Lake City’s historic Trolley Square. We then moved across the street to the Trolley Corners area. In late 2011 we relocated to the newly re-vitalized Sugar House area.
