I booked an appointment for a specific masseuse today. When we arrived the receptionist seemed disorganized. I should have known. We sat down and waited. My girlfriend was called and went in but it soon became apparent that the receptionist had given away my appointment to someone else. She claimed I wasn’t assigned to anyone but I’m looking at my reservation right now– and I had an appointment with a specific, female masseuse. The receptionist’s solution was for me to get a massage from a guy who’s standing right in front of me while were talking about it. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE ATTEMPTED COERCION. It was so unprofessional. Then I had to wait an hour for my girlfriend to be done with her massage. So I spent two hours NOT getting a massage. I understand it is a student massage but the person at reception needs to be a professional. Putting me on the spot like that in what is a service industry is unforgivable. Never again.

I have gotten massages at the myotherapy massage clinic four times now. All four of my massages were incredible. I keep coming back for massages from Craig, because every time he gives exactly what my body needs. I am a martial artist and a big exercise junkie and have often overworked my body, gotten strains or hypertonic muscles. Craig uses various techniques in order to address my needs. I walk out feeling rejuvenated, pain free, relaxed, energized and even feel a little bit taller! My body is at greater ease in movement, and I feel changes in my performance, technique and strength when I return back to my martial arts practice. I can tell that Craig is extremely well trained and educated, he knows the body and how it functions and can feel what its needs are.
I love coming to this clinic because everyone is so friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful and calming. The prices are great. The therapists are professional. I will continue to be a regular client at the myotherapy clinic.

No frills? No problem!
This little gem is hidden away in an industrial park. The interior is unassuming and sparse but very clean and comfortable.
I met my soft spoken masseuse to go over my issues, stress points, and pains.
And then my life changed.
The room was simple, dark and the perfect temperature, the music was interesting but not distracting (everything from Massive Attack to Enya,) no pressure to carry on a conversation and the massage… oh my.
In a good way, I felt like a piece of candy in a taffy pull. Totally malleable under a expert touch. I discovered how much stress I actually carry in my shoulders. When the hour was over, I wanted to dance a jig and give my masseuse a big old hug. I haven’t felt that good in a looong time. I can’t wait to go back.

I recently came by here for a massage with Rebecca. This is a massage school, but they’ve recently started offering massages with LMT, albeit during limited hours. Thankfully, shift work allowed me to come by during those hours.
I’m certainly no expert when it comes to this sort of thing, but I left feeling really good about this place and the massage I got. Rebecca was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job. I felt very much at ease, which is not usually the case for me. No, this isn’t any sort of immersive spa experience or anything, but for the price, it’s an excellent value. I think I’ll have to make an appointment with Rebecca again soon.

I came in for a one hour massage therapy session. First off, they are located in an industrial/​business park complex west of RC Willey. The entrance for the therapy part of the building is «in the back» aka, the north side of the building. From the outside, it looks like your average office building, not very impressive.
As soon as you walk into the front door, you’re greeted by a very friendly front-​desk person at a very unimpressive front desk. She’ll ask to you to fill out some standard medical and personal information forms. You don’t have to actually give out any personal information that you’re not comfortable giving out, but do make sure you fill out the medical form accurately.
She directed me to the waiting room so I could fill out the forms. The waiting room isn’t impressive either. It’s clean but it looks like an ordinary office waiting room. If you’re expecting warm, zen-​like interior design with soothing aromas wafting through the air, then you’re going to be disappointed.
After finishing my paperwork, I was greeted by my masseuse. She was very friendly and engaging. She led me down a hallway to one of the massage rooms. The massage rooms consist of offices that are partitioned in two with some black cloth. Each room has a small audio system that plays soothing Enya-​like music. Each partition has a mirror, massage table, chair and a clock to keep track of time. There are no separate quarters or locker rooms for changing, no bathrobes and no slippers. The rooms are clean and the tables kept sanitary.
My masseuse and I talked a little bit about my problems areas and expectations for the session. Again, she was very engaging and professional. After the small talk, she left the area so I could undress and get under the covers. There’s really no place to put your clothes, so just set them on the chair.
The massage itself was very relaxing and soothing! There was minimal chit chat except for making sure she was applying the right amount of pressure for me. She gave me a full body massage from head to toe and it felt really good! She also remembered to give me extra attention in the problem areas we talked about.
Overall, this place doesn’t haven’t much in terms of what you’d normally expect at a massage place (waterfalls, fireplaces, bathrobes, slippers, etc) but their staff are genuinely nice, friendly and professional. If you don’t care about the bells and whistles and just want a $ 30-​$ 35 1 hour massage, this place definitely fits the bill! BTW, they often have all kinds of promos to save $ 10 off, it doesn’t take much work to find them.
But, remember that this is a college, so the expert level of your masseuse/​masseur will be YMMV.

My husband and I went here to get our first couples massage!
As soon as I walked inside I was immediately impressed with the décor, ambiance, and cleanliness. It was very very nice.
We arrived and were greeted by their friendly receptionist. Our massage therapists were there to answer any questions we had about the paperwork we were filling out. I liked that we were able to tell them any problem areas or injuries in our paperwork so they would know what to focus on.
We were taken back to the massage room. I enjoyed the music they had playing, especially the native american and nature one. My massage was great! Afterwards my husband and I both agreed «I can see myself coming here to get a massage every month». We were both very happy with our massages. They even showed me some stretches to help with back pain after my massage was over and I really appreciated that.
On the way out, I checked out their monthly membership and for $ 35 you can get one massage/​month and they roll over if you dont use them. Seems like a great deal!

Rebecca is a fantastic massage therapist! I had some special needs and requests & she was very accommodating & communicated often without being annoying. The staff here is all very nice. I’m not entirely impressed by the location or the building though & I think the hours are really limited.

I can’t believe how inexpensive this place is! $ 45 for an hour long massage with a pro, and they offer specials/​coupons for $ 10 off. There’s also a monthly membership for $ 35 that gets you one massage and any additional massages (even for friends and family) for $ 30.
I had Rebecca who was oh-​so lovely, skilled, and helpful. I’ve had some weird little pains and tinges, one of which I thought might be the start of arthritis. Rebecca worked my forearm and actually got response in the hand that was curling. She completely worked it out and gave me some exercises (homework, as she called it) to keep up on.
I meant to ask how much massages cost with their students but totally forgot (and I’m already sold on Rebecca anyway). I seriously felt DRUNK after my massage! My advice is to schedule yours with time for a nap afterward.

Let’s get the bad out of the way.
1. Music made me laugh… monks i think? but after 5 minutes totally forgot
2. … that was the only one and I felt dumb not including another.
Rebecca did a top shelf job… which i think refers to alcohol but I am not really sure… I just know it means good.
She was very informative… and she guessed all of my sore spots. I intentionally go in and lie to massage therapists about the places that hurt the most to see if they can find the real spots (which you might think… what a waste of money if they dont… yes but I do this for Unilocal… so when you say i dont care, eff you). And she found the actual sore spots. Well played well played.
Before hand she gave me a good explanation of what would happen, and during she only spoke to give me advice on how to better stretch before the gym to fix my problem areas. And at the end gave me suggestions on what stretches would be best.
She seemed to really care about wellness, and not about a tip or just getting paid and a big welp see ya later.
Oh… and probably most importantly, I felt great afterward. Did i mention they are extremely inexpensive?
THE VERDICT: for the amount of money you pay far beyond amazing. if it cost the same as most massage places it would be excellent… i am having an adjective problem. They’d be better either way. OHHHHH and someone in a review complained about a receptionist… she must be gone because all the ones i interacted with were great… so shut up! Go here… or go waste your money on a sub par massage.

Exceeded expectations! First time coming to mythotherapy for a massage that a friend recommended and was pleasantly surprised how professional, educated, and peaceful it was. The massage therapist was simply amazing, The front desk receptionist was exceptionally welcoming. Would recommed to anyone I know!

I came in today with my wife for a couples massage and absolutely LOVED IT! I had Shea. He was incredibly professional, very friendly, and his work was amazing.
The rooms and tables were clean, beautiful and the environment was amazing. He asked me where my pain points were and integrated all of the feedback I had into the massage. It was perfectly pressured, address the pain and was blissful. I came in with a lot of upper back and neck pain and by the end of my massage, my pain level went from a 8 to a 2.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, especially couples, looking for a really good massage. Best massage in town in my opinion!

Amazing! Everyone there were very kind. Rodger and Heber were especially attentive in making me feel comfortable. I recieved a great massage that relaxed me and helped me for the rest of my trip. Mahalo nui loa Myotherapy! I am definitely coming back!

Receptionist was very terse on the phone when trying to make appointment. When my wife and I arrived (about 2 or 3 minutes late) she chastised me in front of the students and other clients. She then asked if I had been in before. I said yes (because I had). She said I hadn’t and was really put out I didn’t tell her that on the phone because now I had to fill out a new patient form again. Even though I had been there before. Not a good way to start a relaxing massage.
Once in for the massage the student had bad breath and farted.
Don’t think I’ll be going back there again. Mostly because the very rude receptionist/​secretary.

The best decision Ive ever made! A friend of mine suggested checking out Myotherapy, so I went and I am so grateful I did. All the teachers have 7 or more years of experience they have the skills to assist students succeed and move towards a modality that works best for them. They even offer classes and tutoring to assist students to pass their finals and their licensing exam. My favorite parts of attending Myotherapy was that I got to choose elective classes (as far as I’m aware no other massage school offers that), the teachers are some of the smartest and sincere people Ive ever met. I started my massage education here. Sadly I didn’t graduate due to some family issues and went on to another school (You can read my review of that school elsewhere). I then worked for yet another massage school and also gained my degree there. Still, I LOVE Myotherapy. I was SO very impressed in my short time there, and gained so much more depth of understanding of massage and technique than I ever did anywhere else. I’m now a massage therapist for nearly ten years and I STILL pull from my training at Myo. It’s a great well rounded school that isn’t built on someone’s little ego, or to make some corporation a buck. They care. They want you to get the best education for your money. Having been in the industry for as long as I have, and even with those two degrees from other schools? I still recommend Myo because I know it’s the best school that the state has to offer.

This is the best place to get student therapist massage. The students are trained very well, and take an unusual pride in client relations. $ 25 gets you 50 minutes, but for $ 50 why not get the full 100 minute massage. It is just like getting massage from a professional. They even sell gift certificates for $ 20 during the winter holiday season, so that’s when I stock up.
