I just hired Simply Clean to steam clean my SUV upholstery, and I am thrilled with the results.
I bought my car used last year and had been wanting to have its tan-​colored interior cleaned of the previous owner’s oils and grime, plus some stains (e.g., my dog’s slobber, some spills on the floor mats) removed, but I couldn’t find a business that uses entirely non-​toxic cleaning products, and is willing to use just hot water steam for the cleaning process.
The owner, Michael, was able to clean my vehicle using just hot water steam plus an EPA Safer Choice Standard-​approved stain resistant application (I checked myself because I am concerned about VOCs, etc.). In fact, he informed me that steam is the best way to clean vehicle interiors because soaps will actually attract oils. He seems very knowledgeable about upholstery cleaning.
I am very happy with the service provided, the price point was very reasonable, and I’m pleased to be able to support a locally owned small business that is committed to using environmentally safe products. I will definitely call on him again in a year for another cleaning in order to maintain my vehicle’s interior.
