Description

Specialties

Tony Caputo’s Market & Deli is Salt Lake City’s leading purveyor of distinctive Regional Italian and Southern European foods. We showcase our goods in two delicious ways. In our Market, you can explore our cheeses and meats deli counter, sample your way through an array of olive oils and vinegars, walk down the aisles bursting with pastas and sauces, and peruse literally hundreds of other specialty grocery items that set us apart from the rest. Recent major advancements include a state-of-the-art Cheese Cave, an Old-World Butcher Shop, and, by far, the largest and most comprehensive Fine Chocolate selection! In our Deli, you will find a bustling neighborhood lunch spot where customers line up out the door for a selection of made-to-order sandwiches, salads and pasta, using only freshest and best quality ingredients. You can’t go wrong with our signature sandwich, «The Caputo,» which has garnered numerous awards. The «Meatball» sandwich is similarly noteworthy!

History

Established in 1997.

Founded in 1997 in the heart of Salt Lake City’s historic Italian and Greek neighborhood, Caputo’s has become a Salt Lake City institution. Located in the same building as Carlucci’s Bakery and Aquarius Fish Market, it is a regular stop for «foodies,» lunch patrons, and cultural enthusiasts alike.
