Walking in last Sunday pummeled my nose. First instinct was to turn & run. It was lunch time & I thought they are cleaning & that is why it smells like cheap bleach & old basements. Judgement said you will order the wings togo, they are wings, how bad can it be? Roughly 40 minutes later I get what I assume to be heaps of spicy goodness, only to take them back to the office & be repulsed. They pushed the limits of bad. I opened the box & the wings reeked of the restaurant. When food reminds you of the locker room in junior high, for most people it is not a good thing. The wings were thrown away. A friend of mine finished his & shared stories of woe later on. This was a good lesson about listening to your nose. If the nostrils say jump, you should say how high? Good luck & safe eating!

My wife and I love Wing Nutz! We’ve never had a bad experience with the service like other reviews indicate. I definitely think they’re understaffed at times and maybe even lack some training or something based on the reviews I’ve read, but hey, always room for improvement. The wings extra crispy are the way to go in my opinion. They come out with very little grease and taste delicious this way in my opinion! Explore all the sauces. Get the buffalo chips. Drink all the beer. Be merry, be patient, and enjoy your wings! GREAT place to watch sports too if you’re into those things…

Came here to watch the game because I forgot my ID and couldn’t get into bout time. The waiter did not pay any attention to us, but there were only two of them for the whole place. Not sure if they are always understaffed or if someone called in.

Despite all the negative posts I still tried this place out because I love wings. Was greeted as we walked in. Sat down. Stevie came over almost immediately. The food was really good and based on this experience id go back. Not sure why they’ve gotten horrible reviews, I can’t speak to that but mine was very pleasant and enjoyable.

We decided we wanted wings for dinner and have never eaten here before. When we walk in it was was fairly busy but there were still a few empty tables. We sat ourselves and waited for a waiter/​waitress for about 10 minutes. No one ever came by so we thought maybe no one saw us come in. We then moved and sat in the bar area. Still no one even acknowledged us, although a waitress and a waiter kept walking past us. It was so rude. I understand they were «busy» but they could have at least said hi and give us a menu. They even got people next to us drinks, so it’s not like they couldn’t see us, we were literally in front of them. Wasted 15 – 20 minutes waiting and just walked out. We will never go back to this place.

You will need to have patience if you want to eat here, me and boyfriend went here before going to the airport and we were super pressed for time. Food was okay but our fries that we got were cold as ice and the water did not want to redo them at all! Not really a good experience

Hour plus for food and not offered discount. Wings below average. Go to bdubs. Pass on this place

Love the boneless wings. Raspberry chipotle and chipotle lime dipping sauces. And the buffalo chips mixed half spicy half regular… With a pitcher of Mormon lager… Sigh. We probably get that ²⁄₃ times per month. It’s become a staple. Hey if it ain’t broke don’t fix it right?

I love this place! Good selection of beer (although, they don’t have Blue Moon or Shocktop which is a let down). The baked wings are a nice change and their sauces are so good! My favorites are the jalapeño and honey BBQ! I usually do take out orders but have gone in a few times as well. They don’t seem to be very busy, yet they don’t greet you and can be pretty slow on getting your food out. Overall, I enjoy eating here!

We arrived a little after 5 p.m. on Friday to a virtually empty place, and after waiting over an hour to get our food. now I know why it was empty. Food was o.k. I’d give it 3.5 stars. The Southern Sweet sauce (Im a 3^rd generation deep South Southerner, was NOTHING like a Southern sauce. It was just very, very, overly sweet.
The staff seemed totally unaware of the inadequacies.
The place was clean and appropriately decorated with plenty of easily visible large TV screens.
Overall pretty sub par.

Just passing through SLC and happened to be staying at the courtyard Marriott which is right across the street from this place. Let me first say this place is also located right across the street from a soup kitchen or something and there are more bums in this area of downtown than I have seen in most other major cities. For some reason this doesn’t seem to bother the locals. I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, but something to think about if you’re not from the area and trying to get a bite with the family.
Back to the restaurant — this was the worst service I have ever had a restaurant. Period. Actually I shouldn’t even say service because we were never spoken to once in the ten to fifteen minutes we were there. We went to this place because the wait at CPK was about a half an hour. It was Saturday and Wing Nutz was dead so that should have tipped us off. There were plenty of open tables, maybe only six to eight tables of patrons already in there. When we walked in the door there was nobody there to greet us. Seemed to be seat yourself so we grabbed a table. There appeared to be at least three waiters/​waitresses and one bar tender. At no point did anyone come over to us. It was so bad that we thought maybe you were supposed to go up to the bar and order. You’re not. At one point a waiter passed right by us, didn’t say a word. Then a waitress was cleaning two or three empty tables behind us for a good while without saying a word. We got the impression that they were trying to get us to leave. Maybe they couldn’t be bothered to serve a couple with a small child. Anyway, we gave it about ten to fifteen minutes and left. They all watched us gather or belongings and put on our coats, again it wasn’t busy and none of them had anything to do, and they still never came over to say anything. We went back to the hotel and had a much better dining experience.
Not sure how any of these people got into the service industry, but they’re clearly in the wrong place. I imagine the owner doesn’t spend much time at the place as it seems not one F is given by anyone. I’d be really surprised if this place is around in another year.

Do not eat here! Slowest and worst service ever. 1 other table with people, yet it took 20 minutes for our waitress to come get our drink order. 40 minutes later she started to bring the food out and had messed up 3 of the 5 orders. We finally left without 2 of our group waiting for their food.
For a «sports bar», they didn’t have any of the state teams on, since they didn’t carry any of the channels.
Poor menu, horrible slow service. I’d give it a 0 star if I could.

Brian is AMAZING! If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have had beer, food, or any service. Brian ran the show by bartending, serving, taking orders, and probably still able to do a tap dance he was so «on.» This place was COMPLETELY understaffed and the staff they did have was not ready for a rush of people before a concert. Brian deserves a raise and a weekend off!

I work in the service industry, so I rarely tip less than 20%. That being said, my service was pretty bad. Waitress (manager?) yelled at me when I walked in the door when I tried to use the restroom, rushed me out the door, and tried to close out halfway through my meal.
Wings were decent at least.
2/​5, I likely won’t be coming back.

I went here despite the bad reviews… That was not smart. We walked in, nobody greeted us. We went over to try to get menus. They never brought them. We were there for about 25 minutes… My friends had to use the bathroom and weren’t feeling well ha ha. But the customer service was despicable. It seems like you only got food if you knew the person working behind the bar. This place is a disgrace and should not be open for business

$ 15 for a bacon burger and some chips. Take-​out was slow based on how «busy» they were and she put the wrong cheese on my burger. I waited to place my order while she and another employee discussed their schedules. She was cleaning and left a PILE — yes a pile — of dirty wing baskets sitting on the bar.
Burger was dry and overcooked. And cold by the time I finished this review. So yes they made an impression.
I have heard about this but never experienced it — they do not «do» change — they round up if it is more than fifty cents and round down if it is less. I don’t care about the forty-​five cents — well, yes I do — but to me it just seems extremely unprofessional and lazy on their part — they do not want to deal with and count change at the end of the night; most people use cards now so there isn’t a need for huge amounts but to have none?
So while I am on the fence about whether I should tip for take-​out or not — I am becoming more firm on not tipping for bad service — so while they kept my forty-​five cents — I saved $ 2 or $ 3 because I did not tip the poor service. While tipping has become automatic I’m starting to recognize that it should not be and we need to hold the service industry to a higher standard.

Don’t eat here! One of first group in restaurant at lunch to get seated. Our order taken after others after us were seated. Waited 1 ½ hours for our wings and nachos. Wings were cold and tough and nachos soggy and cold.
Awful!!!

This place was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time.
First of all it was 9pm, not busy.
4 tables, one waiter and 3 other staff behind the empty bar bsing with each other.
It took us 15 minutes to get water while one homeless man went around and asked each table for money and another went and drank up left over beer from uncleaned tables.
The cook would periodically leave the kitchen to go play a punching bag game in the dining area.
Our food came out after 45 minutes and was cold.
We sent it back.
Got charged a full bill and even for a beer that I had to ask for twice in a matter of 30 min.
This place is a joke and I will never go to any other wing nuts location after this disgusting experience.
