What a joke! First they rape you on there costs. Then they can’t even exchange a box out one minute after 7 pm but they can stand in the front of the store having rubber band fights. So over this xfinity bs

I have had many negative experiences at comcast that would be worthy of 1 star. However my existence today was very pleasant. Averaging these out, I will give them three stars. The guy that helped me today was very friendly and tipped me off to a couple deals they have going on. I was able to increase my speed for the same price I’ve been paying. He also was able to get me in and out really quickly. This was refreshing to have such a good experience because like we all know, they can be difficult to work with. If you get the right guy though you can have a good recurrence like I did and walk out a little happier than you went in.

I HATE THESE PEOPLE! How does Comcast stay in business with the way they treat people.

This definitely shouldn’t have been a 3 the last go-​around, given how Comcast’s billing really likes to inflict suffering, so I will just put it at that their Mover’s Edge is great, despite the draconian crap they want you to sign up for and they delivered, to the t, everything they said they would… the rest of Comcast, however, is dubious. Highly.
It will be interesting to see if they make an actual customer service attempt to respond to Google Fiber… so far, they’ve made tentative, stumbling overtures, but I suppose that’s better than the nothing that came before…

Comcast service is awful. My husband and I absolutely hate comcast. Our enternet is slow, it drops all the time. When we call in we have spent 3 hours every time on the phone to complain and hope the problem gets fixed, they don’t care just get transferred around to different departments. Nothing ever gets solved they said it was our router we bought a brand new router still nothing has changed. Honestly when Google fiber comes out in salt lake we are dropping comcast and never looking back!

Comcast is HORRIBLE. We have had nothing but trouble with them since day one. Internet never works, Cable is a joke. We even got upgraded to the new X1 equipment and I actually had to go to my camper trailer to watch tv last night using the antenna on the trailer. That’s how horrible this service is. We called to get some help and all they said was… we can credit you 21.00 for your trouble. Are you kidding me!!! Direct TV /​CenturyLink here we come.

I was debating on wether I should give them 1 star or 2. I personally always hate it when I have to go visit a Comcast location. I know I am always going to be in there for a long time. But at the same time I think they are the better option when it comes to Internet/​cable service. It’s basically like Walmart. They are a huge company with huge revenue but they only have few employees that are working at a time. So it is truly a nightmare every time I go to a Comcast location. Also the other thing I hate is all the hidden fees they have. Every time I sign up for service, I am given a price on how much I would be paying. But that price is NEVER what is it when the bill arrives. They got so many fees listed that it just takes the bill a lot higher than what you would expect. So I guess I give them 1 star for the in store experience and the additional star is for the fact that they are the better option compared to other providers.

We have just experienced
The worst customer service ever ! It started with a call to see what service we
had. We were on the phone for 1 hr & 45 min. Transferred 4X. Different info from each person. Got confirmation etc. then told the agent Claris had given us incorrect info even though we had confirmation. They practice FRAUD! They are the rudest, least knowledgeable people it has been my misfortune to have to deal with. All they do is up sell. Nothing but rude !!! I wouldn’t give even the one star but wouldn’t let me delete.

One hour on the phone and my issue is still not resolved. The first Comcast associate hung up on me. I’m currently on my third time supplying the same information and am very doubtful of a resolution. There is no hand-​offs between departments and they just dump you over to the next associate. I am going to fry them on their survey that I have opted into twice now…

There is hell, and then there is the Comcast service center which is a close cousin. I am literally sitting in the service center where THREE employees are behind the counter, and who are not helping customers. The receptionist «ticket» hander-​out (I think that’s his official title) just stands there, and there is probably a 30 minute wait, just to return a cable box. This place is the poster child if inefficient and absurdity. Google fiber please save us.

Comcast is the worst company ever. I didn’t think it would ever be possible to be worse than a cell phone company, but Comcast eclipses all of the usual suspects 10 times over. I can’t even imagine how many people this company takes advantage of. If you have the ability to take your money elsewhere, I highly recommend you do it immediately. Pay more if you have to; compromise with slower internet and fuzzy dish tv. I promise you, it will be worth it and you will be much happier letting a different company take your lunch money and kick you in the pants.

Just when I think Comcast/​Xfinity can’t sink any lower or be more irritating, annoying and horrible… they go and completely redeem themselves!
I was fully expecting to pile on with another 1-​star review for the evil empire that is Comcast. I was dreading my visit to their customer service center and taking some solace in the fact that I would get to Unilocal-​Vent after my frustrating encounter.
Then I arrived. They had me «check-​in» on an iPad. They’re clearly going for a «Genius Bar» aesthetic, but I got more of a «DMV» vibe. Then I settled in for what I was sure would be an hour-​long wait. They have a huge TV, with some very comfy leather chairs, and also a dozen or so iPads to play with while you wait. Nice try Comcast, but your distractions can’t help speed up the sands of time.
Then, before I knew it, they called my name. It was my turn… already! I only had to wait about 5 minutes. I handed them my old TV remote, which had mysteriously stopped working. Did someone drop it? Run over it with the vaccuum? Drop it in the toiliet? NO! It just stopped working! I handed over the un-​damaged remote and said, «My remote doesn’t work. I need options.» The gentleman behind the counter replied, «How about a new remote? Is that an acceptable option?» He didn’t look up my account. Didn’t ask what REALLY happened to my remote. Didn’t ask for ANY information at all. He handed my a new, much improved, remote and I was on my way.
I left, confused and satisfied. Not understanding what had just happened. I had gone in, steeled for battle with this unfeeling corporate behemoth. The people I encountered acted like real, actual, humans.
I don’t love Comcast. They over-​charge and have a tendency to act like a monopoly (even though they aren’t… really). But this experience was top-​notch. Plus, they get me faster Internet than any other available in my area, and they carry the PAC-​12 Network. I guess you can call me a satisfied customer. Who’d-a-Thunk-it?

Worst company in the world. Now they no longer even give receipts for work changes so they can deny it later. I was told I could get 30 MB service for $ 30 a month and got 7 MB instead. When i went back I was told there was no such service and I had the «starter service.» Without a receipt I had no recourse. Rotten, rotten, rotten. When I demanded a receipt on my second visit the woman hand wrote me a note.

Everyone wants to be like Apple. They tried to make it look like a duck but it doesn’t quack like a duck.
Inefficiency, not enough staff. Get ready to stand around for a half hour and wait to return a modem. Ridiculous.
One girl was really sharp. Her name was Jill. She, alone, got 5 stars.

If you are here, chances are you are miserable.
It was a bright and sunny day, 40 degrees and sunny. My spirits were high and I was having a good day when I had to pop into the Comcast/​Xfinity store to return my modem. Opening the door there was definite air of oppression and sadness. Stepping in my eyes adjusting to the darkness, I saw the faces of the damned, sad eyes, hollow stares, pale and lifeless faces. Seeing these people hanging to a shred of hope that their number would be called I knew how Lazarus felt in Hell calling out for a drink from father Abraham.
The Xfinity employee I called Belial (chief of demons) quietly listens to my complaint and assigned me a place in line. Accepting my fate, I tried to find one of the few comfortable perches lining the brimstone colored walls.
I settled in for a long wait, trying to avert my eyes from the screens rolling endless propaganda reels. My head ached as I watched the ghoulishly grinning face of overly happy «service tech» actor plugging in a cable box of an «elderly lady» actor. Who are they trying to fool with this schmaltz?
After 45 minutes and countless prayers for a quick death my name was called. My breath quickened, palms turned clammy. I needed to hurry or I would be skipped and thrown back into the pit of oblivion. I rushed past the mobs, pushing and kicking them away as they tried to grab for the ticket in my hand. My golden ticket to freedom.
As I reached the counter I was greeted by one of the servants of the dark lord named Chris. He promptly began the process of taking back the modem they arbitrarily decided to start charging me more for. I explained my disgust to Chris, as he caressed his earlobe studded with a diamond SF giants earring, but my complaints fell on deaf (although jewel encrusted) ears.
He printed out a long form for me to sign. I asked «What’s this?» He said it was just to show I returned the modem, but in reading the fine print I saw I was allowing Comcast access to my credit report, a pure unblemished lamb, my first born child and eventually my soul. «I can’t sign this.» I said. So Chris took out a sharpie marker and crossed out everything but «returning the modem» and «owes us a lamb.» Delirious from my already excruciating experience, I signed it.
As he handed me my receipt, Chris touched my hand and gave me a look that said «Take me with you, get me out of this hell. I beg you!»
I grabbed my receipt and bolted for the door, as I pushed it open it felt like a 100 ton safe was blocking the way. I heard the cheers of the dammed behind me as they watched, seeing hope of their own freedom. With all my might I kept pushing, feeling the warm light of freedom on the other side. With Belial’s cold evil glare burning holes in my back I broke through basking in the beauty of a normal suburban strip mall. Free from the clutches of doom. With my trip to the underworld behind me, I decided to reward myself and went up to Oh Mai for a delicious Banh Mi.

The one younger guy who took care of our problem was extremely helpful, friendly and listened to what we were saying. The large older man who checks people in however had such an attitude and rolled his eyes at us when we told him the situation. I have worked in many customer service positions and I know this is so unacceptable. Not sure how they have him working in the front of the store.

I’m going to sugar coat this as much as possible. This place SUCKS!!! You can’t make an appointment. They won’t text or call you when your appointment is close. I’m here bringing back my comcast modem that is defective. If a Comcast serviceman brings one to you they will charge you. The wait is over an hour and they have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!!! This place is run by a bunch of ass hats.

These people are soul sucking murders. They are an absolute monopoly here and the only reason that is allowed is because they spend millions lobbying congress. When google fiber arrives, I’ll finally be free of these despotic, anti-​American criminals.

Look, I get it. As corporations go, Comcast is basically the oozing sore on Monsanto’s backside. (And yes, the stuff it’s oozing is being sold back to us by ExxonMobil.) One day, we will stop suckling at the mastitic teats of cable monopolies and reclaim some fraction of our humanity. Until then, we will occasionally need a place where we can swap our outdated DVR for one capable of recording 63 hours of the World Cup. When that time comes, this particular Comcast service center – with its soullessly modern décor and genial employees – will serve its purpose with surprising efficiency.
