H&R Block

Doesn’t deserve one star but I think I have to give atleast one.
I came here to do my taxes today, it is really close to my house. As soon as I walked in the door I smelled some bad body odor but nothing out of the normal for H&R block this time of year. Nobody was attending the door to greet customers but it didn’t take long for someone to come to the door. And wouldn’t you know it. it was stinky herself. Larger Indian lady full of all sorts of stench, Omg unbearable! Is it against the India culture to wear deoderant? Even if it is, eff-​that! Code of conduct policy should over rule that crap. So. anyways…she took my paper from me and asked if it was all I had, I said yes and she told me to sit and wait. Atleast I think that’s what she was saying, I mostly heard waah waah waah whaa because I was so overwhelmed by nose poison.
I sat. About 2 minutes passed by and all I wanted to do was run out and never look back. I couldn’t.She had my Damn paper!
I quickly mustard up a story. I completely interrupted her conversation and told her that I just got an important text and needed to leave ASAP! Snatched my paper and left. I drove 21 minutes further from my house to file my darn taxes. And guess what!!! I owe the friggin IRS 14 dollars FML!

Worst experience ever! I would not recommend this place to anyone! I went into this office with a few questions on my taxes. The man they assigned to assist me (Lee) was the rudest person I have ever met. He had no patients for questions at all! You could tell that he hated his job and did not want to be there. Lee may as well just shove me out the door, thats how strong his vibe was that he did not want to be helping me. Now the issue is that when I go to the IRS web page to check on the status of my return it comes back with a message saying that they dont have anything in their records. I guess Ill see if Lee and H&R Block really filed my taxes. I would Stay FAR FAR away from this place and do your taxes on line with Turbo tax, they have the best customer service.
